Top China is not my normal Chinese place - I have been a Sampan faithful since before Top China opened. However Sampan is closed on Mondays (currently) and I was at Pitkins so I stopped in and ordered the General Tso Chicken lunch special takeout (currently $10.75 with tax). I was pleasantly surprised with everything (chicken, fried rice, egg roll) - it was delicious.
Easily the best Chinese food I’ve had in the area. The fried rice was awesome and the General Tso’s Chicken was really good too. I opted for the spring roll instead of the egg roll because the egg roll has shrimp in it, and I’ve got to say, it was one of the best spring rolls I’ve ever tasted. The restaurants setup is geared towards takeout and isn’t particularly inviting for dine in, but there is some seating. I look forward to eating here again in the near future!...
