I moved into a facility nearby, (Arbor Terrace, terrible food!) and even though my meals are included, sometimes I need a pizza! So, on Thursday evening, May 18, 2023, and since I'm one of the most mobile, I let folks know I would pick up pizza for them also! Pizza party!!! I've been to Vocelli's before and the pizza was terrific, however, this time it was VERY "not so great". We got a 16 inch "Build your own" pepperoni and olives, regular sauce. The other was a 16 inch "artesian" Spring Vegetable. On both, we noticed there was almost no sauce, to speak of, and none within 2 inches of the edges. The spring veggie had 6 pieces of mushrooms, 4 slices of tomato, decent black olives, tons of bell pepper chunks, etc. AND, almost NO cheese on either of them. This left 6 of us VERY disappointed. No one wants to use them any more and I'm not sure I will, either.

Ordered a pizza on Door Dash. Immediately after I placed the order, I realized I forgot to add pepperoni. Called the store, asked to add pepperoni & pay for it over the phone. Was told I needed to contact Door Dash to do that, which made no sense. Door Dash said to call the store. I'm not sure why they couldn't just add the pepperoni to my order, I wasn't asking for it for free. So I got a pizza I don't want & also they got the drink order wrong.

We placed an order for a Mac and cheese pizza with bacon only on half. They sent us the wrong pizza; they sent us half cheese half Mac and cheese. We called to see what to do about getting the correct pizza and they said that we had ordered incorrectly which is not the case. We have ordered this multiple times before. We have also had issues with their delivery service once the left the pizza on the ground without even knocking. The pizza is good, however, it is not worth the hassle
Vocellis is my usual it’s chain in the NoVa area. Especially for a late night pie. The gentleman who runs the shop in the evenings does a heck of a job making pizza. The order status is accurate and it’s always delicious and fresh. I did get shorted some cannolis once. Partially my fault for not checking my receipt getting excited to chow down on a tasty za. I always order take out vs delivery so I can’t speak to quality of that. Vocellis is one of very few spots in NoVA who does thin crust right. I would be very interested in their take of St. Louis style pizza if they ever gave it a shot.

Do not do business with!!!I chose this location for a large event we were having, order over 30 pizzas with a varity of toppings, our pizzas were delivered in black trash bags. When we opened the pizzas we realized not one of the pizzas had the toppings we ordered (just random weird topping on each. I called the owner right away to let him know our order was not correct and his response was " what you received is what you ordered" I reiterated to him, there has been some mistake made because this is not what we ordered, he yelled thru the phone "we wrote down what you ordered and that is what you received" then hung up the phone. We were definitely scammed out of sever hundred dollars. Beware!!

One guy working that night, and man he was chill. I showed up in my robe, it was late, and I was having car disses. He didn't care, he kept it cool and we talked like old friends. I devoured that whole thing that night. As long as he's working, I'm coming back.

Sadly, my favorite pizza chain has lost it's edge. I have been a loyal customer of Vocelli's for years now, but the quality of food and customer service has gone downhill during and after the pandemic. Every time I come in the customer service is subpar, with the store manager reeking of marijuana and never greeting guests. There are never any to-go condiments available and the the prices have gone up with no improvement to quality or portion. You will often get extremely overcooked pizza or almost raw dough. Its just a toss-up honestly. I used to always use their services for any work-related events/personal consumption but I think I may have to throw in the towel now.

SCAM!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!! (Woodbridge, VA location) We ordered 32 assorted flavors of pizzas to celebrate our associates. NOT ONE OF THE DELIVERED PIZZAS WERE WHAT WE ORDERED!! When I called Mr. Z to tell him our order was not correct he said "I wrote down what you ordered and that is what you got" he did not offer up any kind of apologies or solutions to resolve the issue. He basic screamed thru the phone and ended the conversation with "that is what you ordered". Very bad customer service experience.
