Server seemed like she wanted to be any where other than at work. Green beans looked like they had been chewed and put into the bowl. Country cooking doesn’t have to be crappy food. Store and restrooms were clean and nice.

The best Cracker Barrel I've ever been to. Definitely above and beyond most other restaurants in it's price range or category. And a great gift shop to boot!

We've had better tasting chicken. The herb seasoned chicken was not cooked for my daughter's liking 😒. The beignets were good, nonetheless.

On vacation in Woodstock, VA. Went Sat, was fine. Returning on Tue. Just after noon, different experience. Seated and drinks in a couple of minutes, ordered. 30 min later no food, we ask for manager. Find out our order was never put in. People by us, seated later then us, got their food. But no silverware, one of those customers had to find some. 40 min after seating our order arrived hot and great as usual. The place was not busy, just a bad day. We were comped for the breakfast. Has to go to my car for something. Returning, an exiting customer warned: they are really slow inside. So it was just not my area in the restaurant having problems that day. I have gone to a local Jersey Cracker Barrel and others for many years, this my first major problem.

It's Cracker Barrel! Solid comfort food, great service, cool decorations and atmosphere, store/shop as you enter, clean bathrooms, plenty of space (no booths, just tables). They are at most major highway stops, especially on the east coast and in the southern states. And the prices are very decent.

Hot one with new menu. Only go for the fried chicken and new menu only has it on Saturday and Sunday. Waitress made excuse that the fryers weren't even in but you could get single piece with sampler meal so it was an obvious lie. Was a regular stop when traveling but no reason to return when traveling because of limited menu during the week. Sad change.
