Excellent care by the ER doctors and nurses. The same was true during my stay in the hospital for the next few days. The referral for a follow-up with my regular MD prevented a much more serious problem. Very grateful for their care.
First, the good: Intake is detailed and gets to the triage at a good pace if you have an ER situation. Nurses and support staff are fine. After that point, your care depends very much on who your doctor is and who is on duty. Then the bad: When a life is on the line, I expect experienced doctors to make good decisions in the ER and during follow-up. Here, it is a toss up. Had to visit the ER today for a kidney stone issue and found out after arriving it was a "6 kidney stones issue." Needless to say I was miserable but the excellent staff made the visit , and pain, tolerable. I observed nothing but professionalism and kindness from everyone I interacted with. The entire staff is an asset to the medical profession and I commend you for a "job well done!' Thank you!
