Lunch portion of the meatloaf and chicken and dumplings were just right, especially while traveling. We wanted a solid meal with no leftovers. And the fried okra... Delicious!

I went with a large group and most people seemed to enjoy it a lot. I ordered the chicken and dumplings since they were out of meatloaf. I got a large, shallow bowl of a chicken gravy, a bunch of large, gooey dumplings, and three small chunks of chicken. I obviously ordered the wrong thing. The person that ordered the garlic beef tips thought they were okay but dry. Everyone else seemed to be happy with their orders. I guess the moral of the story is to order something other than the chicken and dumplings.

Staff was extremely friendly but the food was Luke warm at best. My wife had to send back her biscuits & gravy & my pot roast & mashed potatoes could of been warmer. She said her fries weren't hot. The warmest, hottest thing we had was the chocolate Coca-Cola cake we shared that's served warm w/ice cream. This is our second consecutive visit to a Cracker Barrel on a trip where the food wasn't up to the standards everyone has come to expect. As always the server & staff in the store was friendly, polite and helpful.
I stopped here with my daughter and son for lunch on the way to Pigeon Forge on November 30th. It was busy, as to be expected, but honestly the wait wasn't as bad as we expected. We were greeted with enthusiastic smiles and kind tones. When we were seated our waitress, Geneva, handled our service. She was absolutely wonderful! We never waited for a drink refill and she was quick to answer all of our questions. She checked on us enough that we didn't have any unattended to, but not so much that we felt hovered over. She was so pleasant and her smile made our day. We will certainly stop here again on future trips!
