We stopped here to avoid fast food on our northbound road trip. Awesome, homemade pork, chicken, beef and sides. Clean bathrooms, delicious, fresh iced tea and friendly service by the owner and his wife. Large indoor dining room and also shaded outdoor seating. Definitely revisit again!
The food was delicious, staff was so friendly and very quick. They answered all of our questions, and were very helpful! The restaurant and restrooms were impeccably clean and as a mom traveling with two kiddos under 5, THAT is BEYOND appreciated. The only complaint I have isn’t even a complaint, which is that we were not adequately warned about how much we would want to eat or covet our 4yo daughter’s strawberry ice cream. Stopped on our vacation and enjoyed a great meal. The food was really good and the portions were plentiful. We had the Beef Short Ribs and they were very good. We also really liked the potato salad. It was a nice day to eat outside. It was a very good time.
