this was the second time i ate at mimi's cafe. the first time was a year ago. it was amazing again. the food was great and the service was superb. all the items i tried were delicious and i would recommend this place to anyone passing through wytheville, virginia.

Arrived late with our two kids 4 and 8. My partner is vegetarian and they accommodated our dietary needs. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and even made recommendations! The food came out fast and was absolutely delicious! They have regular tacos for under $3 and special ones for just over. No need to go anywhere else for delicious and affordable food! Yummy!

Vegetarian options: We had soft tacos with beans and rice! There's also fajitas and guacamole (the chips are not vegetarian)

Dietary restrictions: They ensured that our kids taco was not spicy!

Stopped in Wytheville because of dark and snow. Found Mami’s, great service, food, drinks and prices. A++++. I suggest the Burrito Grande, excellent.

Fantastic Mexican, Puerto Rican fusion restaurant! Staff is friendly with great customer service. Carne Asada and mechelada was so gooood. Best restaurant and bar in town. I highly recommend.

After learning the hotel had a restaurant attached, I decided to give it a shot, especially hearing it was mexican-puerto Rican fusion. While the outside appearance didn't really draw me in, it certainly wasn't bad. As I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised....two ladies enjoying a drink and chatting at a table and three gentleman sitting at the bar enjoying their food and adult beverages. I was on a mission...after reading a review on the Mexican rice with shrimp and pico de gallo, covered in queso cheese, I knew that would be my order! While waiting on order I requested a bourbon and coke which was promptly made and delivered. The only issue here was the 1.25 oz of Bourbon was poured in a regular size glass like you would sip sweet tea out of and then filled with coke, basically removing any hint of Bourbon. I would suggest utilizing actual drink glasses instead of the larger ones. That was where any negative statements end. The place was spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, plenty of large screen tvs for viewing sports and the food was absolutely delicious!! Shrimp cooked perfect, queso right on point and the combo of shrimp, rice, pico and queso worked out to an outstanding dish! I would strongly recommend this establishment to anyone and I will definitely return on my next trip to Wytheville.

Delicious find! On the road and in search 👀 of good food, ran across this restaurant on the side of Ramada Inn. Food was very tasty and service was friendly.

The day after Thanksgiving, stopped for fuel and to eat in Wytheville on our way home to NC. I found Mami's Cafe online and decided to eat here instead of all the chains. It's oddly attached to the Ramada Inn but who cares.

I had the Fiesta Bowl which was a Mexican/Dominican blend of flavors. The crispy bowl, the marinade, the queso were all homemade. I'm not joking... this was chef level, culinary cooking. It was seriously the best Mexican style salad I have ever had!!!

This hidden gem in wytheville is definitely worth a stop . Friendly staff . The food is so good . The empanadas I had to go back another day to get more . Skip the commercial restaurants and try this small business. The salads are very good too . I ate here several times and I wasn’t even staying in the hotel it was connected too .

Nice lounge, off the beaten path, with a full service bar. The prices were fair and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is located in a Ramada Inn on the right side of the building with ample parking. The restrooms and restaurant was clean. Plenty of TVs for viewing as well as a nice place to do a little work. I had the lunch portion of chimichangas and got a beef empanada to go. Both were delicious but I’d definitely recommend the empanadas. The location is super low key. Recommended
