I had heard how good O Taste & See Kitchen was and couldn’t wait to try it. It was better than I ever imagined. The food was delicious. I have Alpha Gal and my sister is Gluten-free and we both agreed it was the best food we had in a long time. The owners were wonderful, sang Happy Birthday to me and treated us to a vegan cookie. It was the perfect birthday lunch! I will drive the hour from Floyd again soon.
I wanted lighter fare that was healthy, and O Taste and See popped up in a search for good salads. Wow, did we pick the right place! Every dish we ordered was delicious, from the kale and butternut squash soup, to the orzo salad, to the shawarma style pita. My mom was hesitant to try tofu as a protein, but ended up loving it! Everything was so fresh and well seasoned. Eric (the proprietor) shared how they locally source everything they can, and it really showed in every bite....
Family run all vegan food prepared with care and personal touches. The only all vegan restaurant in Wytheville. We had the nachos and the salad special. Everything tasted great! Service was fast and very friendly. Entrees were made from scratch and tasted homemade. The cook brought a sample of the apple crumble dessert. That was a nice extra touch. We would definitely eat here again.
