The cook was running in and out to weedeat and mow while cooking all covered in dirt and grass. Also stringing his weedeater in the kitchen. They reheated a lot of food in the microwave, we can do that at home. Felt very unclean!

Don’t let the fact this little gem is in an old gas station put you off from some great food. My husband had the fried oysters and I had the Atlantic white fish. Both were delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food was delivered lightning fast. Owner Papa who is very personable was in the dining area often and made sure we were happy.

Best hush puppies ever. They have a huge menu and reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and keep a check on your needs. I have been eating her approx a year, but they are a long established restaurant.

I ordered a shrimp gyros when i took a bite out of it it was so sour that i instantly threw up called him to let him know so no one else would get sick and he told me his food is not sour instead of going to check or take the customers word i didnt want my money back or food back just wanted him to know and that was his response i will never order there again

I had the fried combination platter and added the scallops. Portion was huge ,very fast service . Food was hot and delicious. Definitely a place to go if you want a great meal and not a chain restaurant..

We stopped by because this place was so close to the interstate. And it was worth it!!! Food portions were a great size. We not the daily special since we were in a hurry, thinking it would be faster service, and we were right! Flounder and popcorn shrimp came out nice and hot!
We were in and out in under 30 minutes. Clean tables and friendly staff!

Taso's diner is an experience! You never know what Taso is up to, as He lights up the room! Bringing the Greek culture, fun, and food to Wytheville. The food is amazing, from the grilled Mahi-mahi to the fried white fish seafood. Daisy is a fantastic server. Very attentive, and welcoming. The little details mean everything at this restaurant....from Daisy writing whichever national day it is on the check, to Taso adding a dab of butter on your nose on your birthday (it brings good luck accordingto his culture), All of the staff and servers are hard workers and very nice. Papa Taso's Diner is great experience with the best customer service.
