I ate here when I was working for Pepsi plant next door as a night shift supervisor about 17 years ago. The food was by far the best in town of any kind. The owner of this restaurant was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He owned apartments for rental and really gave me a great deal for rent that helped me paying off college loan and car loan much quicker. After 2 years of debt free, I went on to study MBA and subsequently left Pepsi and the area altogether.

I used to come here every time I came into town. This last time, the staff was rude, and everything was choking on black pepper.

Had high expectations reading some reviews but was disappointed. Food was really quite bland. Ordered Kung Pao chicken and it tasted like a frozen meal from a microwave. Hot and sour soup was pretty tasteless also. I think maybe some reviews were driven by the very reasonable prices. Service was good. Decor was interesting but worn. Nothing about this place to set it apart.

Unfortunate experience here. We stopped by for Mai Tais and got glasses of canned juice. The waitress Kaitlyn was so nice, we complained and she told the manager of our concerns and the manager suggested we get long island ice teas or flaming volcanos???? He also commented to her that we were amateurs for ordering Mai Tais??? We are both middle-aged and seasoned restaurantuers and just wanted a decent cocktail and appetizer and not looking to get loaded. Also, they don't have a bar and don't offer chicken wings. We left having to pay for terrible drinks we didn't consume. Luckily we went to the local Applebee's and got great service and drinks. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

The service was excellent, my personal request were followed. However, I did not feel the food had much flavor - very bland. The lo mein noodles were mushy, and the fried rice was dry. They come highly recommended by the hotel staff, perhaps my order was a fluke.

I am somewhat confused as to how this restaurant has such a high rating. My family travels all over the country and has eaten chinese food at all locations we have stayed at for the past 7 years. I would like to say the service was good, the atmosphere was a classic chinese restaurant and it was clean. So there is that. But, the food was almost gross. Crab rangoons were so crabby they were somewhat fishy. My son got a noodle dish that had zero flavor he didn't want to eat it but felt bad wasting, as did I. We shared an eggroll, they are huge, and actually, that was the best thing we had, but still not wonderful. I ordered General Tso's chicken, and it was very saucy with a bunch of vegetables. It was kind of soupy, which was like nothing I have had before, but the sauce was also so sweet it upset my stomach. I really wanted to like this restaurant since it is the only one, and we are here for a few months. Oh well ?‍♀️ if others like it, super for them, I just needed to give my honest review.
