We stumbled upon this adorable, friendly cafe while just day tripping in Yorktown. We enjoyed the Pulled Pork on a potato bun and the sampler platter. Loved it all. Service was amazing and super friendly. Even took a container of the pimento cheese spread away as it was delicious. Now regretting that I did not have a slice of carrot cake. Thank you for a great lunch.
I have had lunch several times at Carrot Tree Kitchens and love it. They offer caring customer service, delicious and unique menu options, variety of drinks and desserts including the best carrot as well as chocolate cake I've ever had. Highly recommended having breakfast or lunch here when you visit historic Yorktown. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it is also across the street from the parking garage, so very easy acces and it is nice to take a walk along the river...
LOVE this little place! Perfect for lunch at Yorktown Beach. During the recent federal government shutdown, Carrot Tree offered a free lunch every day for federal employees who were not getting paid. CLASS ACT!
