Pretty disappointed because we’d driven out of our way to check out the food here- but besides one sign saying to use the billiards door where what I’d guess was the main door is supposed to be - there was no signage of them even being open, let alone which door was the “correct one” to use. We stopped by at 130pm on a Saturday.

Visited to see a friend’s band 21 North and had a great time. The staff was wonderful, attentive and super friendly. I ordered the French Dip comes with a side & chose premium side of onion rings and my wife ordered the steak quesadilla. Both were amazing. The French Dip was not skimped by any means. The sandwich itself does have onions on it in case you’re not an onion fan.

This place is a good Atmosphere especially when they have good bands. Mike is our favorite bartender who is in the back bar. For sure my go to place when I come in to town. The owner is very sweet and welcoming.

I go to the Cowboy Cactus at least 4 to 5 times a week! They are always having great music and different activities throughout the week! There open mics on Tuesday are Fun and Awesome and it’s great to see local musicians come out and show their talents. It’s also cool that they can accommodate full bands. They have Karaoke every Thursday and now they are open 7 days a week. Come and check it out. For those that like to play pool, they have a separate side for that and another bar to serve your adult drinks!!!

Hubby and I were craving steak so we went to check this place out. We arrived around 6:00 and the place was empty of patrons. Only a manager and bartender were there. The dining/bar/bathrooms were very clean. They had ribeye on special for $22. This comes with your choice of 2 sides. Our food was very good. The steaks were cooked exactly as we asked and were seasoned perfectly. The folks working there were welcoming, professional but fun and really seemed to want to be there. We found out there was a new owner that is serious about making this restaurant a success. This night they had a band scheduled. Since we ate dinner there, we didn’t have to pay the $5 cover fee so we stayed for the first set. People started rolling in around 7:30 or so. The band was surprisingly good considering the advanced age of most of them. My husband and I were surprised more people didn’t come earlier for the food since it was reasonably priced and so good. We will definitely be going back and telling our friends. Y’all check it out!

My husband and I went on a Thursday and they had all you can eat crab legs. Food was amazing, staff was top notch, and atmosphere was fun and inviting. Definitely worth the drive from Chesapeake!

New owner is bringing this place back. Lots of events like bands, open mic night, gaming machines, and pool. Food is on point, wings are great, they do an all you can eat crab leg night, and the steak is perfect. Strongly recommend this local business!

Super fun place with great service! Brought a large group of friends in last minute and they accommodated us with a big table! Nice selection of beer and food for very reasonable prices. Friendly staff and regulars! Karaoke night was great!
