Food has become very bland, chicken was rubbery and barely seasoned. Not what I remember from plaza in the past.

We frequently come to this restaurant and usually have a great experience, however, when we went tonight it was different. Different in the way that after our waiter took our order, we never saw him again until he brought the check. He never came back to check to see how the food was, ask if we needed extra napkins or if we wanted refills on our drinks. Our food tasted good, not great and the restaurant wasn't busy or too loud, but we were very disappointed in the service. Hopefully it will be better the next time we go and if not, we'll find another Mexican restaurant to start going to.

Food 10/10. Ambiance 10/10. Service…WTF? Told someone new to the area I’d treat them to them best Mexican food in YC. Dude. I’m a server of 6 years. I get it. Place was dead. Server took our order. Didn’t come back until she dropped the check. No plates. Had to use the foil from the fajitas as a plate. Got the table side guac (delish, tipped $5) but they never brought more chips?!? Had to flag down the manager for chips for the guac. Tipped 20% (for lame service) and asked server for a to go cup for drink. She never brought it (waited 10 min. I timed it). Flagged down different manager for cup. Food is AMAZING but server wouldn’t know cuz she never came back. I have the receipt to show date/time. I’ve been doing this for years…I know how it works. Was truly embarrassed that I had to make excuses to my guest about the service. Server was rude the two seconds she did come to the table. Prolly not going to come back again.

I come here fairly often. Went in Sunday around 5 and asked to have a margarita and presented my ID. The server took my horizontal ID and stared at it while asking me how old I was 4 times. I told him I'm 23 (admittedly I do look young but nonetheless my id states my age). He said no drink and we asked for a manager he came back a few minutes later and said there was no manager and he'll look at my id again. He was smug as can be smiling as if he caught me doing something wrong. In the end he goes okay I'll get it and walks away without taking our orders. Absolutely terrible service from the guy which sucks cause it's normally great. I've never once had somebody claim my id doesn't look like me. Don't know the servers name but It wasn't the large guy (he's great).
