We’ve been eating here since 1972. Used to be called Gus’s. Sits on the beach. Over the years the casual atmosphere has become a bit more pretentious. Waitresses can come across as snobby and rude, though some are super nice. Food is really good. The website and sign say they close at 11 pm, but most disappointing we got there at 10:30 and they announced they were closed and hadn’t had time to change the info on the door or website. This place was amazing, food was out of this world - crab cakes, hush puppies, fried flounder! Staff was really friendly and got us seated right away! Couldn't have ended our day any better in Yorktown!
Enjoyed a late afternoon lunch. Started with the crab dip, which had plenty of crab. Split the Seafood Combo platter, which was more than enough for two. Ended with the Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake.
