⭐ 1-Star Review
Worst Customer Service Experience at Subway Zioncross
I’ve never had such consistently bad customer service at any Subway location until I started visiting the Zioncross branch. Every time I politely ask for extra black olives, the two managers refuse with a rude and dismissive attitude. It feels personal and frankly, I’m starting to wonder if it’s related to my name or background, especially considering that the other manager there are always the same and this happens every time I visit.
To make things worse, food safety is clearly not a priority here. Almost every time I’ve eaten from this location, I end up with stomach pain something that never happens at other Subways.
There’s one employee, Kali, who is always kind and professional, but unfortunately the manager is extremely rude and disrespectful. This location seriously needs attention from corporate both in terms of customer service training and health standards.
I’ve always been a loyal Subway customer, but this branch is an embarrassment to the brand
Worst Subway we have visited. Quality of sandwiches was horrible, the worker was very very stingy on ingredients. Asked for extra cheese and there was still much less than other Subways serve without even asking. Man and woman working seemed like they were very unhappy to be there. Won’t go back to this store.

My original review doesn't apply any longer, it was during peak COVID. I've had fairly decent experiences here since then but the prices (like everywhere it seems) are outrageous and you have to order 50% more meat on a BMT to get anywhere near the meat that should be on the base sandwich.
I used to love getting the Italian BMT at Subways, now unless I'm on the road and just make the decision to get one, I plan, and make my own Italian subs at home as good or better than anyone makes them.
Also, as I recall, this location like the one over by Lake Monticello does not participate in the half price or BOGO deals advertised on TV. That's about the only way Subway subs, without added meat, are worth the money. Still tasty, but I would rather have an Arby's half pound roast beef for $10 or the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich...STILL only $5!
Great food. I love the new foot-long pretzels.

Prices are way too high for what they have to offer. $15.49 for a footlong chicken bacon ranch sub is absolutely absurd especially given the quality of ingredients. They also barely add any toppings. I also specified not being charged for the "Subway series" sub when I did not want the 2 x the amount of cheese that supposedly comes on it, I was charged for that anyway. We will not be returning.

They had what appeared to be sliced meat sitting on the counter in trays not refrigerated.

Does honor coupons. Uses the Subway name but will not honor their coupons. Prices seem a little higher here. Will not return.

I used to love Subway until the prices started going up. And this last visit cost me almost 19.00 for a foot long tuna sub. With No Extras! Just a tuna sub. Nope, not again. I could have purchased a couple cans of tuna, a jar of mayo, a tomato and a head of lettuce for right much less than 19 bucks. Besides Jimmy John's is much better AND cheaper to boot!
