23 finally were able to get to goodies thispastweekend, and were never more disappointed. We saw that coffee was the flavor for the weekend. But when we got to the window it was not. My husband instead got blkraspberry and vanilla mixed. I then ordered Cho and vanilla mixed. Horrible mistake. The chocolate tasted like. It ihad been frozen and thawed over and over again. Never will I go back if that’s the only choice.

We enjoyed Goodie's pulled pork sandwich above any other we've tried in the area - great balanced sauce, really flavorful, topped with tasty fresh coleslaw. The creemees are super dense and smooth, and the orange-pineapple ice cream a unique experience! Beware the huge ice cream portions, though - ask up front how big they are so you don't gorge yourself or feel bad about tossing the excess. The only disappointment was the Michigan dog. Amazing views, too! Big shaded area with picnic tables for enjoying the panorama while you feast.

This place is amazing all the way from the atmosphere to the food. The owner and employees are very nice, and the spot is beautiful. One thing I always get is a strawberry milkshake with chocolate sprinkles, you have to try it, best choice of my life. I know Chris would have been happy to see how far this place has come

With the new ownership this year there's a definite uptick in the quality of the food and ice cream desserts. The people taking orders seem like they really care. The owners have some cool plans for next summer. They are working really hard to make some nice changes throughout the business. And BTW, my bacon cheeseburger was excellent and the lettuce and tomatoes on it were fresh! The curly fries were great. We also had shakes and a fancy sundae. All excellent! Very reasonable prices. It's a 45 minute drive one way for us to get there but definitely worth the trip!
