Went during October Fest ,menu available was very small including the portions .Won't be going back ,very disappointed 😞
We had a fun evening at Brownyn. The server was hilarious and made our experience entertaining and enjoyable. They offer a variety of beer with three size options. The pretzel was tasty although the mustard had more horseradish than we like. The pork schnitzel is all of the hype and more. Absolute perfection. The bratwurst and potatoes were tasty as well. This is a must when in Arlington.

Honestly some of the best loaded potato’s I’ve ever had. The schnitzel and curry patty were okay. The burger was good. The ice cream Sunday. was really good and the chocolate mousse was OK.

so german restaurants have gotten sort of scarce so we thought we would give this a try...darkish germanesk inside with an interesting bar area and lots of outside seating and a place for a group for their nights of music, we ate outside and were pleasantly surprised by the menu...we started with the gigantic pretzel which was great and then tried the 45$ 3 course specials, we figured meals would be tapa sized but WRONG.....the appetizer a salad and a thing i forget the name of were both gereously sized...dinner was salmon and sauerbraten, again very good and generous, for dessert a chocolate mousse and a sunday...great...drinks were interesting and very good, service efficient and pleasant...we did eat out side so of course it did rain and we were not in the tent covered area, so were were assisted moving inside to finish up our meals (well desserts ) as the weather prevailed....very good, very interesting!!!

Overall excellent experience. Loved the fun, German decor, including king and queen chairs and bench seating. The food was first-rate and plentiful with beer, wine, and other drink options. Service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was fairly busy on a summer Saturday night.

One of the best meals we’ve had in VT for years! The asparagus starter was a crowd pleaser (seriously, it was that good), and the house made bierwurst with spatzle will be something I think about until the next time I can order it. A gorgeous location and kind staff really topped off the experience.

Best German food I've had in this country. The service was great - diligent, but not overbearing. I wish they played more on-theme music, but that's a small criticism. Highly recommend

Easy parking, fantastic ambiance, high-backed wood-carved chairs make you feel like you’re in a castle or a tavern. Atmosphere and service were both incredible, food was fantastic. Pretzel, apps, fondue!, and we tried all the desserts. Top notch, you won’t be disappointed!
Food was delicious, atmosphere was super fun, and the service was wonderful! Definitely will be returning in the future!
The turkey leg is awesome! Not to be missed.
Excellent service. Our group ordered several different entries, which were all excellent and large portions.
Honestly, my favorite restaurant south of Route four. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it.
