“I absolutely love the food here. Everything is always delicious and I never had the wrong order. The staff is always polite and courteous. My only complaint is that the hours are kinda wonky. They used to be open for dinner, and now they close in the early afternoon or some days beforehand. Wish they had better hours.”

“My takeout order wasn't so great. The "large" ceaser salad was an average side salad size. I wouldn't have minded it much, but the lettuce was brown. Ick! I'd asked for no croutons. There were croutons. If I'd had more time, I would have absolutely brought it back.The other issue I had was I'd asked for my wings to be extra crispy, and it even stated that on my receipt. Not only weren't they crispy, they were a little undercooked. Ick again! Luckily, I have an air fryer that took care of that issue, but I shouldn't have had to cook my own wings. Sure hope this was just a bad day in the kitchen.”

“Overall, this isn’t a bad substitute for a Chipotle kind of restaurant in the area. I got a burrito bowl and while it was a bit pricey, the food was good and the staff were super friendly. I also appreciated the multitude of drink options.”

“Formerly the Mark Skinner Library for 100 years, the building has been creatively reborn(a few years ago) as an upscale art-filled restaurant. Buckminster Fuller designed the addition in the 1960s! Definitely make a reservation as early as you can. A number of side dishes are vegan, and we ordered the ratatouille with bread & greens and the tower of mofungo. Owners have lived in San Juan and impart the tastes and styles of this city into their cooking, a delight. We took food home, very large portions. I wondered if I would have to dress up, but styles are casual in New England, even at fancier places in cold weather, it seems. Really nice wines by the glass and bottle. Friendly service from Keller. The owners invited us to look in the kitchen which used to be book stacks. They still have the card catalog.”

“Everything was great as usual, especially the ambiance and the service. Cocktails are also creative and well prepared. Our only complaint was that the coffee AND espresso (especially) were on the weak side and not piping hot.”

“Nice little spot near center of town. Didn't try the pastries but they all looked wonderful. We had a sandwich which was rather delicious. It escapes me which one it was right now as I am writing my review a week later, so my apologies. Along with the sandwich we had some limeade, also delicious.”

“Stayed for the 2 night weekday Epicurean stay and could not recommend it more! It is exactly what you would want out of a Vermont Inn/Hallmark movie and I will be back.The price point was better than expected for 2 nights, including breakfast each day, a wine and cheese plate upon arrival, birthday treats and a 3 course meal for 2. (499 before extras and taxes)The staff were all pleasant,. Our room was perfect,; loved the remote fireplace, the library esthetic and the jetted bathtub. Parking was easy and plentiful. “Burger is fairly good, keeps me coming back. Milkshakes are great. Only thing that keeps it from becoming a couple times a month vs. couple times per year is the price range. Cost me $31 for a double burger, fries, and a milkshake. Very good food but I don’t think any burger meal anywhere is worth that much. However, it is Manchester so prices reflect the customer base and competition.Overall recommend it. If you find the prices affordable I don’t see why you wouldn’t come in multiple times a month, it’s good food.”

“Such a treat. Authentic feeling Italian in a small mountain town. Excellent cocktails, wine list favors northern Italian wines, and the pasta is all handmade. Really enjoyed my evening here and highly recommend.”

“This is an amazing Turkish restaurant. They have really great authentic small and large plates. Good wine and beer. They also have a huge store of furniture and home goods from around the world. A very interesting place.”

“Great place! Had the melt in your mouth venison. Lovely, warm and unique restaurant. Really enjoyed it, the snow made it that much more cozy. Server was perfect and punctual. They have a mock-tail apple punch or something like that that was refreshing and would be perfect for even younger patrons. “I have always really enjoyed eating at Nipper’s Cafe. It’s a delicious and interesting menu so it’s tough deciding what to get but the breakfast burrito is one of my favorites. A maple latte in a real mug is a special treat. It’s warm and cozy with comfortable seating for any size group. “The pizza is amazing! We came up to VT for the day and had the chance to finally check out Marigold! We had the special Pepe pizza and it did not disappoint. We've been to Pepe's in New Haven and loved Marigold's twist on this pie. Service was great...especially loved hanging with Kevin and the rest of the staff! “Super accommodating, party of 12 phone in same day. You can tell this is the locals place. Food was surprisingly good. Mac n Cheese bites were gone in seconds. Chowder exceeded my expectations and was very large! Brownie Sunday was a tad dry and wasn't "sizzling" the time it got to table. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers and prime rib. “I’ve been to a few other breakfast places in the area but I think Little Rooster Cafe’ is my current favorite. The food was great, the prices weren’t bad, and they got me in and out efficiently. My only complaint was they sat me in a weird spot at the counter where I had figurines and other things in my way but other than that I had a great experience.”

“It is a family tradition to visit the Marsh Tavern Veranda to celebrate my wife's birthday. This year it was equally enjoyable as past times. Sitting on the veranda in the summer with a view of the Vermont sky is always special. Our lunch selections were quite good. Service is fast and friendly.”

“The food was amazing! This seems to be a family owned restaurant, which is great but there are only about two waiters. We were first seated at a booth but the seats were ripped and unusually squishy, so we moved to a high top. Which was much better. The Shirley temple was yummy and so were the steamed muscles and burger. The food took a long time to come, but it was definitely worth the wait! Since there were only two or really one waiter you didn’t get checked on much but it was fine. The real only flaw is the low amount of waiters and the long wait for the food. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially for families! And my family and I would probably come again.”
