“I haven't had a single mediocre experience with this wonderful business. From the first time I stumbled upon a scone at a work event to Valentine's Day Wendy makes the most wonderful baked goods I've had in a long time! Service that goes above & beyond with amazing goodies from local ingredients means you cannot go wrong. If you haven't tried moon scones before, what are you waiting for?!”
“Every time I come to Pangea I have such an amazing experience! The food is always so delicious and the staff are so accommodating with vegan/dietary restrictions, not to mention so kind and considerate in general. Always going to want to come here for dinner & I can't wait for the patio to open in the warmer weather too.”
“The pizza is amazing! We came up to VT for the day and had the chance to finally check out Marigold! We had the special Pepe pizza and it did not disappoint. We've been to Pepe's in New Haven and loved Marigold's twist on this pie. Service was great...especially loved hanging with Kevin and the rest of the staff! We will be back when we're in the area again!”
“Roz’s cafe is a wonderful establishment for the Folk of Bennington College. Their aesthetic in wonderful, and cleanly, and their interior design in on point. I rather enjoyed the various drinks I’ve had from them, and their other options seem nice as well. The service wait time is fast, and those working there are polite and kindly. As well their mug policy is superb, mugcelent if you will.”
“The service was absolutely wonderful. You're able to seat yourself. The waitress was wonderful and very pleasant. Our food had no time at all. It came out. There was nice spacing between the French onion soup that we ordered and the two sandwiches we had this evening. The French onion soup had a nice beefy flavored to it. There were many onions the piece of bread that floated in it was hardy it held together. The amount of cheese, melted over the top was absolutely incredible and also was served with oyster crackers, which was pleasant to receive with that soup. My boyfriend had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It looked wonderful. He said he wished that there was a little more ranch dressing on it. It was a little light. He wanted more of that ranch flavor, and the chips on the side were fresh and crispy. I have the chicken moon sandwich. The chicken that was on the sandwich was a nice piece of white breast meat. It was juicy. It had some good flavor to it. The mushrooms that were sautéed there were many of them and made the sandwich. very good too. I would say there was maybe a little bit too much mozzarella on there for me. There was some over the chicken and mushrooms, but then there was also more on the lid of the roll. The role was fresh and tasty. I was hoping maybe for a little lettuce and tomato on it which would've been nice and maybe some other dressing an aïoli or maybe even a mustard. I had onion rings they were a little bit overdone for me and a little greasy but they weren't too bad. All at all it was a good meal. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and maybe having one of the entrées the next time.”
“Dropped in for a quick bite to eat, ordered a grilled sourdough cheese & tomato sandwich. Cold tomato, lacked a quantity of cheese. However the grilled Rueden had plenty of filling & throughly enjoyable.”
“I have to drive over 80 miles each way to eat in the restaurant but it’s well worth it. I am English and travel to England usually about once a year to visit my family and of course I eat Haddock and chips a couple of times when I’m there and I must say that none of the chip shops there compare to Lil Britain because when you buy food in a British shop it has been sitting around for quite a while on display in a heated cabinet but in Lil Britain I always wait for the food to be cooked and I know it’s fresh out of the fryer. Everything my wife and I buy there is delicious and the staff are so very friendly.I have no doubt that we will be back there ASAP, when you are running a business here in the USA and you hear it mentioned and recommend on a British radio station by Mark Goodier you know it has to be good.Keep up the good work folks.”
“Stopped by Lumber Jack’s on our way home from a ski trip. The service was great and the coffee and food were delicious! The owners sure know how to run a great business!”
“I absolutely love the food here. Everything is always delicious and I never had the wrong order. The staff is always polite and courteous. My only complaint is that the hours are kinda wonky. They used to be open for dinner, and now they close in the early afternoon or some days beforehand. Wish they had better hours.”
“I love this place. Great atmosphere of a country store. Baked goods, fresh fruits, wine, etc. I live close by and love their donuts. I mailed them to California and they stayed fresh.”
“My Coffee is spot on every time made to perfection! The Staff is Amazing, the conversation is always great here, food and coffee 5stars for sure, I absolutely love the community support they go above and beyond for Hoosick Falls!”
“Nice place. Fosters sense of community with large tables that bring strangers together. Tonight ramen from the kitchen with the Ra-men on stage. Both food and music were delicious. ?Vegetarian options: Had a veggie option on ramen bowls”

“Wandered in at 3pm on a random Saturday. Place was packed. First time in months I had to wait to get a table somewhere. I didn't mind because that just means it's good.Great beer, great fish and chips, and a sandwich the size of Kent”
“If you want great food and great icecream Benson's Dairy Bar is the place for you. Today is their opening day and five stars as always. The staff provides great customer service every time. Looking forward to another great season.”
“We stopped here for breakfast on the way home from a ski trip. Service was fast, we didn't have to wait to be seated. There was such a cozy feel to the dining room, breakfast was delicious and portions were very generous!”
“Door dashed Philly's twice now and the food was fantastic, especially the Philly Jawns, which is now one of my son's favorite foods. I tried the Broad Street Bully and it was so good. Bennington needed something new and different and Philly's was just the thing. I look forward to visiting the restaurant in person.”
“I may have only been passing through between NY and NH, but this diner feels like home. We were welcomed like old friends that have been too busy to stop in. Not only was our waitress amazing, the owner was also quick to attend our needs. The Christmas Eve specials included a Monte Cristo, and it took me back to my childhood. The fresh maple syrup just took it over the top. If you're hoping for a corporate cookie cutter, look somewhere else. If you want grandma's home cooking, and the warmth and love it comes seasoned in: this is the place. Thanks again for the amazing service. ~RJ~”
“Very cool place. Friendly , fast service, and the food is delicious. It's a local hometown bar. Great prices, and they have a pool table if you should watch to take on the challenge. Casual atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious. We will be back again.”
“Tom and I love to go out to breakfast. We have been to many local dinners , from Bennington VT as far as Granville NY. Can definitely say that Country Gals Cafe is the best food , prices , service and atmosphere . They also can provide me with a vegetable side@ breakfast. Most places can't. The Best; hands down.My only wish is that they had more seating and longer hours on Sun am. ?. & of course , I keep trying to convince them they should do dinners also. ?We love you at Country Gals. We will always come in for breakfast.Tom & Deb.”
“Great pizza and atmosphere. The owner, Yucell, is also very friendly. My only complaint is that our baklava was not prepared correctly. The outside was warm and had a nice crispy texture, but the middle was cold.”
“Food was great, big servings, was so full., As of today. Food still fantastic. Prices have gone up just like everything else.Parking: Streets on River, Depot Street free parkingKid-friendliness: Family atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Ramp on other side of building, just ask for help”
“Came here for breakfast for the first time and was extremely pleased. I had an egg sandwich and home fries. I asked for the home fries to be crispy and they were absolutely perfect! I’m so happy with the food and the service here that this will definitely be our go to place for local breakfast from now on.”
“Run don’t walk to try their “The Ultimate Grilled Ham and Cheese Panini”. The combination of flavors that greets you is amazing. Welcoming and attentive service also notable.”
“Went tonight as I heard Christina was going to be there. She is the best. Friendly and remembers you whenever you come in. When the owner of our company visits, he wants to go to Browns when Christina is there. The service was great- the food was good. She makes you feel like you are the most important person there. I will be there whenever she is there.”
“I brought my neighbor down to the Cancer Center and as a thank you, he took me to lunch at Your Belly's Deli. What a treat! First, the shop is adorable and the staff was super friendly. We felt very welcomed. I had the Portobelly and it was amazing! I've been craving it since and can't wait to go back! I'm a big fan!”
“We stopped in for breakfast as we were passing through the area. The servers and staff were very friendly and the place itself quaint right off main street. Sausage gravy was a little plain in my opinion, but the potatoes were very tasty. My wife had the short stack of blueberry pancakes and they were very good and fluffy. Being from NJ, I can't remember the last time I got a breakfast for $20 for one person and the whole bill was $20, so the value can't be beat. It was well worth the stop.”
“Great brewery in a renovated old train station. David was our server, and he was extremely personable and knowledgeable. There were about 8 beers and a cider on tap. The IPA, red ale and summer shandy were all enjoyable. Recommended if you like beer.”
“Enjoyed a salted maple latte and breakfast sandwich today... Excellent! Prospect has also hosted some fun events, such as this Paint & Sip last summer, a clothing/gift swap, and a mixer for our chamber of commerce. The owners are deeply committed to creating community in our little village. I love the everything about this place.”
