“While coming back to western NY, we made a side trip to Bennington and started to look for somewhere to eat. So, went to Google and found this great place, Blue Benn. An original diner since 1948 - but let me tell you. FANTASTIC from the moment you walk in the door until you try to roll yourself out the door from eating some much wonderful food. From the fried homemade donut to the best omelette ever (which has sour cream in it - who knew). The pricing made me want to get one of each thing on the menu (which is 4 pages of yummyness). And---- the best thing was that they treated you like family. Kudos to Chelsea from the two old ladies from Western NY. The next time I go back to NH, I'm heading to the Blue Benn on the way! Perfect ending to our trip.”

“T.O.T’s (Taste of Tradition)… wow. What an incredible addition to the Bennington restaurant scene. So far I’ve tried the tender brisket & grits breakfast—served with fried eggs and seeded toast—and today’s brisket biscuit with blueberry chutney… both were absolutely outstanding. Flavor-packed, comforting, and clearly made with care. The menu is diverse and full of home-cooked favorites, and they even offer lunch delivery, which is a huge bonus. If you haven’t checked them out yet, now’s the time—you won’t regret it. This is good old-fashioned cooking done right.”

“We had such a great experience at Papa Pete’s Diner. From the moment we walked in, the friendly Vermont atmosphere made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you’re welcomed like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. The food was fantastic across the board—everything we ordered was delicious. The highlight had to be the giant pancake, which absolutely lives up to the hype. It’s huge, perfectly cooked, and just as tasty as it is impressive. 🥞 Service from Sherry was wonderful—attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. On top of that, we really enjoyed chatting with the owner, Cathy. Hearing the story behind the diner and learning about its origins made the visit even more special. It’s clear how much pride and heart she puts into the place. Between the amazing food, welcoming atmosphere, great service from Sherry, and the chance to connect with Cathy, it was a memorable meal. If you’re in the area, Papa Pete’s is absolutely worth a stop. 🍳☕”

“Great place to get a great sandwich!! Nice menu with plenty of choices. Our server was very attentive and answered all our questions. We had plenty of food and packed our leftover for later. It was a cold damp rainy day but inside was cozy and welcoming.”

“We had the most delicious meal tonight. The prime rib was perfectly prepared, my husband’s lobster mac & cheese was rich and decadent. Our server Sherry was attentive and very pleasant. The host Rachel was the best. She sat us at a table with a lovely view of the mountains and the Bennington Monument. It was the perfect way to spend our romantic getaway in Vermont!!”

“LOVE Mount Anthony Country Club. Beautiful course. The views are unbeatable. I’ve golfed, attended weddings, held company parties (adult only AND kid-friendly), and put on tournaments here. Maru, Tara, and Andrew are wonderful. Josh and his team make tournaments so easy, fun, and stress free. The whole crew is always extremely helpful and accommodating to whatever we need or request, even last minute. Thank you guys!!”

I purchased several flavors and could not choose a favorite because they were all so good. Highly recommend. As a matter of fact I have recommended them to several of my friends and family. “We had a good dinner at Union South and overall enjoyed our visit. We started by sharing the Street Corn Dip appetizer, which was delicious.
Our server, Maya, was attentive and welcoming at the beginning of the evening. After the food arrived though, we felt a bit overlooked.
For entrees, we ordered the Korean BBQ Bowl and the Chicken BLT and both were very tasty. This wasn’t our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last. We would recommend visiting Union South.”
