“I love a good diner. The food here never disappoints. We came on a Sunday around 1230. There was a couple of ladies waiting in the entrance so we joined them. It wasnt long at all before we got a booth. We would've been seated sooner if we sat at the counter. Our waitress was efficient and pleasant. He had 3 eggs, homefries and 2 orders of english muffins. I'm not sure where he put it all but his plate was clean by the end. I had a burger that was exactly perfect.Bring quarters! They have tableside jukeboxes.“

“Do NOT sleep on this place, this diner was just the best! We just stumbled on Sunny Side Diner while driving around Bennington looking for gas and a decent breakfast. Didn't look like much from the outside, but once inside it turned out to be a real treasure of down home charm. Our server was as sweet as pie, the food was reasonably priced, abundant and delicious. Everything was just perfect! Not sure whether it's just a Vermont thing, but the toasted bread that came with our breakfast was so delicious that it alone is worth a return trip from northern NJ“

“We were in the area and stopped to get lunch here. I AM SO GLAD I DID!! For starters, I really liked the menu, had a good variety. The ambience, music and paintings in the wall were nice. Service was amazing and the food was soooo incredibly good. I would like to come back to Bennington just to come to this place again. Great experience.“
“Played the front nine on our way passing through town. Course was in nice shape for it being the end of the season. Great views of the area and wasn’t too busy. As you finish up the front nine, be prepared to play your ball from uphill or downhill lie as there isn’t a bit of even ground on these holes. Greens are pretty quick and makes for challenging putting. Overall, would play again but $58 for nine and a cart felt steep.“
“Here for a beer and dinner just past opening time. A friendly bartender and a lovely fellow drinker who asked me about my travels and suggested a few things I might need to see while I'm passing through New England. The beer? One of their delicious New England IPAs. It was cold and smooth and quite flavorful.Dinner? I reviewed the menu and while it all looked great - tacos, enchiladas, nachos and burritos - none of it would come even close to my keto diet. I simply enjoyed the beer and headed onwards.Neat homey place and delicious brews. Worth it.[Review 18456 overall - 56 in Vermont - 1978 of 2022.]“

“Wow. Week of the Eclipse. Hungry and just passing though on Route 7 through Bennington. We saw your shop and struggled to find our way BACK to your shop. Glad there's a parking lot across the street. So glad we found it because it was spot on for the fish I was in the mood for. Perfectly cooked. Not greasy. Heaven. Chips - the greatest.Going to try more when I go back. "I will return." "I'll be back."I was too bust eating and enjoy this food to take a picture. But it was worth it.A Treasure. Should have taken some more food out.Vegetarian options: mushy peas were great. Get a large cup.“
