“Ask the bartender how they make the Bloody Mary. If you aren’t completely wowed, check the shingle out front…you might have the wrong place. The Bloody Mary’s are ?”
“WHAT A VIBE!!!!! Super chill and relaxed atmosphere in the basement. There is tons of wall art, signs, stickers, and old boards to look at while hanging. Theres also pool tables and foosball!! It's definitely a perfect place to grab a drink after a long day on the mountain.I'm sure this spot gets rowdy at night, but I've never hung around long enough to find out. Come just for a beer and the apres ski experience, you will not be disappointed!!!!!Oh, and the whole place has cheetah carpet!! I mean... need I say more?Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Must show ID.Wheelchair accessibility: Did not appear wheelchair accessible that I could tell. The entrance is going down a bunch of steps into the basement. It is possible there is an elevator, but doubt it.”
“Stayed in Vermont for a few days with the family. It was challenging to find places to eat as many were closed on Monday, Tuesdays and/or Wednesday's. Mulligans was open on a Monday so we decided to give it a try! It's located in the Stratton Mountain resort, in an area known as "Stratton Village" and it is, as You can imagine from the name, a pub with pub food....and then some. There was outdoor, covered patio seating, but we choose to eat indoor as it was rainy and humid. We were promptly greeted and seated. For one of the few places open on a Monday, it was busy, but not overly so. We started with the pretzel sticks and nachos. Plenty for 5 people. The nachos were huge and loaded. Dinner included the lobster special (2, 1.25 pounders, steamed for $28) which were enjoyed. I had the salmon salad, which was...okay....the salmon was over cooked, which I find typical at most restaurants. The salad was ample, but lightly dressed. Other orders included cheeseburger and fries, chicken wings (plain) and warm lobster roll, which, like the steamed lobster special, was ample, and delicious. The service was delightful, by a very accommodating server named "Susan" who was friendly, attentive and just an all around nice lady. We had fun, we left full, with leftovers and a good time was had by all....and we were thankful they were open on a Monday!!”
“We visited Solo Farm and Table as part of a group of six on a busy Thursday night at the end of October. We were served a set menu of seasonal ingredients, many local and some from the restaurant’s garden, in a beautiful, 19th Century in, cooked with skill and presented with care. Some of our party struggled with the lack of choice, but what we were served was fabulous. A tomato amuse bouche and a squid ink dish will live long in the memory. It was the best meal we ate in our trip through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. What really stood out though was the joy all the staff brought to their work. This is a wonderful establishment and the team is clearly and justifiably proud of what they serve. It was a privilege to share in it.”
“We had a wonderful experience at Trail 87. Mike was so welcoming and he and his staff were so very kind. The food was just fantastic. I highly recommend the Shorty Pie, my 11 yo girl fell in love with it and ate the whole thing! Their Drive-In burger was perfect and hit the spot after hitting the slopes. And I do recommend the Apple butter old fashioned, it is different but awesome nonetheless.Thank you, Mike. It was our absolute pleasure to dine with you.”
“Formerly the Mark Skinner Library for 100 years, the building has been creatively reborn(a few years ago) as an upscale art-filled restaurant. Buckminster Fuller designed the addition in the 1960s! Definitely make a reservation as early as you can. A number of side dishes are vegan, and we ordered the ratatouille with bread & greens and the tower of mofungo. Owners have lived in San Juan and impart the tastes and styles of this city into their cooking, a delight. We took food home, very large portions. I wondered if I would have to dress up, but styles are casual in New England, even at fancier places in cold weather, it seems. Really nice wines by the glass and bottle. Friendly service from Keller. The owners invited us to look in the kitchen which used to be book stacks. They still have the card catalog.”
“Overall, this isn’t a bad substitute for a Chipotle kind of restaurant in the area. I got a burrito bowl and while it was a bit pricey, the food was good and the staff were super friendly. I also appreciated the multitude of drink options.”
“Nice little spot near center of town. Didn't try the pastries but they all looked wonderful. We had a sandwich which was rather delicious. It escapes me which one it was right now as I am writing my review a week later, so my apologies. Along with the sandwich we had some limeade, also delicious.”
“Wow! Love this place! Best place I have found in Vermont! I have gone in and had their gigantic breakfast burrito twice! They are the nicest people, great customer service. Went in today and they were busy! Long line but fast friendly service! Today I had the best Philly cheese steak sandwich I have ever had. Add jalapenos of course. I cannot say enough about how great this little spot is. Affordable, delicious, friendly. What more could you want? Feels like you are family when you walk through the doors.”
“Had the Farmers omelette. It tasted like they had gone shopping at a farmers market that morning . Friendly, and comfyWheelchair accessibility: As the name implies, you have to walk up a flight of stairs”
“Burger is fairly good, keeps me coming back. Milkshakes are great. Only thing that keeps it from becoming a couple times a month vs. couple times per year is the price range. Cost me $31 for a double burger, fries, and a milkshake. Very good food but I don’t think any burger meal anywhere is worth that much. However, it is Manchester so prices reflect the customer base and competition.Overall recommend it. If you find the prices affordable I don’t see why you wouldn’t come in multiple times a month, it’s good food.”
“Stayed for the 2 night weekday Epicurean stay and could not recommend it more! It is exactly what you would want out of a Vermont Inn/Hallmark movie and I will be back. The price point was better than expected for 2 nights, including breakfast each day, a wine and cheese plate upon arrival, birthday treats and a 3 course meal for 2. (499 before extras and taxes)The staff were all pleasant,. Our room was perfect,; loved the remote fireplace, the library esthetic and the jetted bathtub. Parking was easy and plentiful. I cannot wait to return.PLEASE go here for a romantic and cozy night. You will not be disappointed.”
“Title: A Sweet Treat at Grandma Miller's!Review:Grandma Miller's is a delightful pastry store that truly knows its craft. We tried an array of their offerings including coconut chocolate chip, raspberry horn, donuts, and a lemon scone. Each item was a burst of freshness and flavor, clearly made with love and care. The coconut chocolate chip was a perfect blend of tropical and sweet, while the raspberry horn was tantalizingly tangy. Their donuts were light and fluffy, and the lemon scone had just the right amount of zest. We couldn't resist taking some of their delicious cake and chocolate chip cookies for the road. The cozy seating area inside added to the charm, making our visit even more enjoyable. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!”
“Such a treat. Authentic feeling Italian in a small mountain town. Excellent cocktails, wine list favors northern Italian wines, and the pasta is all handmade. Really enjoyed my evening here and highly recommend.”
“This is an amazing Turkish restaurant. They have really great authentic small and large plates. Good wine and beer. They also have a huge store of furniture and home goods from around the world. A very interesting place.”
“Stopped by after spending 2 nights at nearby camp. The line was long but the conversations made it fun to wait. Pretty good Iced Chai for hubby & my Iced Maple Latte was delicious and I don’t even like cold coffee! Pleasant service.”
“Superb! Akee like butter, complimenting the salted fish and peppers wonderful shredded salad, caramelized plantain, whipped potato and corn, peas and rice. Add some hot sauce and Bombastic!!! Already looking forward to more.”
“Tasty authentic burmese food. Light & Fresh. It's a small restaurant with simple decor & using paper containers. You order your food at the counter but it gets brought to you.Parking: Directly where the restaurant is. It doesn't have too many parking spots but otherwise there are other options.”
“Fantastic selection, good prices for all varieties of fish and some shellfish. Wish there were more oyster varieties but we're in Vermont, not the cape so I guess I'm just spoiled.”
“Great place! Had the melt in your mouth venison. Lovely, warm and unique restaurant. Really enjoyed it, the snow made it that much more cozy. Server was perfect and punctual. They have a mock-tail apple punch or something like that that was refreshing and would be perfect for even younger patrons. Already trying to recreate it...Worth making your visit, as I left a very happy camper! Thank you, as I will visit again.”
“This place was a great stop on my way to the mountain and I cannot wait to go back. Delicious, strong coffee drinks and savory treats. We also got some cold brew and iced tea to go so we could enjoy at home. The man working was friendly and personable, making the visit so much better. We will be back again.”
“A very nice, welcoming restaurant. Barrows has a family friendly, and a warm atmosphere. The food is excellent and the drinks were even better! Highly recommend.”
“Great spot for the whole family. Excellent menu with a smash burger being their niche but other options available as well. Delicious fries and sides including a brussel sprout slaw that even my children will enjoy. Cool vibe and nice beers available to pair with your food. Easy online ordering for quick pick up of food, and plenty of outdoor seating if you opt to dine in. Staff is super friendly and service is excellent.”
“I have always really enjoyed eating at Nipper’s Cafe. It’s a delicious and interesting menu so it’s tough deciding what to get but the breakfast burrito is one of my favorites. A maple latte in a real mug is a special treat. It’s warm and cozy with comfortable seating for any size group. The kind and friendly staff and sun shining through the large windows top it off for me.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian and gluten-free options.Kid-friendliness: This place is for all ages.”
“I literally drive hours out of my way to get to Mother Myrick's! Their Buttercrunch is the best--it's the most authentic I've had in the U.S. It tastes like the best of Austria! Everything is outstanding!”
“Diamond pool table in great condition... Need I say more? Home vibes with fire place, and puppies running around Nice ambience with dive bar prices. Only reason it's not a 5 star, is cuz they charge $2 for ice cubes...”
“Had a great time service was great staff was polite and went above and beyond. Don't forget the food was great. I will go back if I'm ever in that state again. We even bought tshirts there we liked it so much.Vegetarian options: Staff will work with you to make something epic for you”
“Delicious, delightful, and around wonderful breakfast experience. Everything on the menu is delicious, there's outdoor seating or you can pop in and out eat your sandwiches on the go. There's also a confectionary store right across with glorious stuff worth checking out!”
“The New American Grill has a VERY friendly atmosphere and consistently good food. The menu is diverse and satisfying . There is a local vibe amplified by local (open mic) and regional accomplished musicians. God options at the bar.”

“Grizzly's is the perfect stop after the slopes! We come back for the phenomenal wings. & We love our waiter Tiny!!! He was clearly working hard and made us feel taken care of despite the busy crowd. Thank you Tiny and all of Grizzly staff!!!”
