“Liz was absolutely amazing. We visited the deli 3 times during our weeks stay. She always welcomes you in with a hello. The sandwiches were amazing. If we ever make it back to Stratton we would definitely visit her ”
“Never disappointing. The food was great. Staff always professional and friendly even on a busy night. Not inexpensive but to be expected at a ski resort Wine and cocktails never disappoint”
“I have eaten here in the past and it was fine, but my most recent trip was excellent. The restaurant seems to be under new leadership. The menu is great, service exceptional, and food was perfect. I ordered the strip steak and asked for it to be cooked a very particular way. I rarely order steak at a restaurant unless I know for sure it will be great, but I took a chance this time based on the recommendation of the server. The steak was prepared exactly as I asked it to be. But on top of that, the meat was really special. A strip steak is usually a little on the tougher side compared with a ribeye and filet, but this one had the texture of a filet and the taste of a strip. It was also prepared in a way that indicates they are doing something special behind the curtain. They have a flame grill but there was a crust on my steak that indicated they were doing something more than simply grilling it. Maybe it was a butter bath, or the seasoning, but whatever they did it was amazing. It was also a very clean piece of meat, no chewy bits, the fat was trimmed, and it just looked beautiful on the plate. I wish I had taken a photo. Overall, a great experience.”
“Make sure you see Richard at the bar! Have been coming to Stratton for 3 years and ALWAYS stop at Mulligan’s because it’s right near the gondola base. I PROMISE the service is 100x faster than the horribly slow gondola at Stratton ?I can’t agree at all with many of the below reviews - the service is local and friendly, the food is hot and well-prepared, and I have consistently had the same positive experience at Mulligan’s and it will continue to be our ‘first stop’ on our daily Après tour of the Stratton village.Get the steak fajitas!”
“Creative seasonal menu of delicious fare using lots of local products and prepared with a step above twist! The burgers, saison fries, shorty (shortrib) pie and house chips with VT cheddar cauliflower dip are staples and the seasonal specials, salads and soups never disappoint. Oh, and that Whiskey cake!”
“Overall, this isn’t a bad substitute for a Chipotle kind of restaurant in the area. I got a burrito bowl and while it was a bit pricey, the food was good and the staff were super friendly. I also appreciated the multitude of drink options.”
“Wow! Love this place! Best place I have found in Vermont! I have gone in and had their gigantic breakfast burrito twice! They are the nicest people, great customer service. Went in today and they were busy! Long line but fast friendly service! Today I had the best Philly cheese steak sandwich I have ever had. Add jalapenos of course. I cannot say enough about how great this little spot is. Affordable, delicious, friendly. What more could you want? Feels like you are family when you walk through the doors.”
“Stopped by after spending 2 nights at nearby camp. The line was long but the conversations made it fun to wait. Pretty good Iced Chai for hubby & my Iced Maple Latte was delicious and I don’t even like cold coffee! Pleasant service.”
“Burger is fairly good, keeps me coming back. Milkshakes are great. Only thing that keeps it from becoming a couple times a month vs. couple times per year is the price range. Cost me $31 for a double burger, fries, and a milkshake. Very good food but I don’t think any burger meal anywhere is worth that much. However, it is Manchester so prices reflect the customer base and competition.Overall recommend it. If you find the prices affordable I don’t see why you wouldn’t come in multiple times a month, it’s good food.”
“Fantastic selection, good prices for all varieties of fish and some shellfish. Wish there were more oyster varieties but we're in Vermont, not the cape so I guess I'm just spoiled.”
“This is an amazing Turkish restaurant. They have really great authentic small and large plates. Good wine and beer. They also have a huge store of furniture and home goods from around the world. A very interesting place.”
“Great place! Had the melt in your mouth venison. Lovely, warm and unique restaurant. Really enjoyed it, the snow made it that much more cozy. Server was perfect and punctual. They have a mock-tail apple punch or something like that that was refreshing and would be perfect for even younger patrons. Already trying to recreate it...Worth making your visit, as I left a very happy camper! Thank you, as I will visit again.”
“Cozy restaurant in Vermont close by Mount Snow. We ordered a wide selection of appetizers and entrees and everything was great. The appetizers came quickly. The fried pickles and Wu Tang wings were solid (they can make the Wu Tang Sauce Mild or Spicy). The Golden Bubble White Flatbread was tasty as well. The Dark & Stormy cocktail and grapefruit mule were fantastic. The waitresses checked on our table a few times and helped us find the bathroom. The place was great for a casual dinner.”
“Went to Valley view Saloon for the first time today 8/13/22. The food was amazing the wait staff were very pleasant and attentive too our needs. The building had a nice bar and dining area plus nice outside seating I would definitely recommend this place.”
“This place was a great stop on my way to the mountain and I cannot wait to go back. Delicious, strong coffee drinks and savory treats. We also got some cold brew and iced tea to go so we could enjoy at home. The man working was friendly and personable, making the visit so much better. We will be back again.”
“Fantastic steakhouse and very reasonably priced for the quality and portion size.Came with a group of 10 and we were impressed with the service and the food. 10/10 would come back and recommend to anyone around Mount Snow.”
“Great spot for the whole family. Excellent menu with a smash burger being their niche but other options available as well. Delicious fries and sides including a brussel sprout slaw that even my children will enjoy. Cool vibe and nice beers available to pair with your food. Easy online ordering for quick pick up of food, and plenty of outdoor seating if you opt to dine in. Staff is super friendly and service is excellent.”
“Friendly and quite speedy. This stand has great burgers including a tasty homemade black bean burger on a brioche bun. The ingredients are fresh and the food is made with care. Thank you!”
“Had a great time service was great staff was polite and went above and beyond. Don't forget the food was great. I will go back if I'm ever in that state again. We even bought tshirts there we liked it so much.Vegetarian options: Staff will work with you to make something epic for you”
“We moved away from Dover 18 months ago and I miss Shital’s Indian food dearly! The Palak Paneer and Chana Masala are the best I’ve ever had. Your food was my favorite in the whole Deerfield valley. Please let me know if you find a way to ship your food to Conway NH!”
“We had a great day today at Snow Republic Brewery! The beer was very good, the food was great ( the largest chicken sandwich I've ever seen and delicious), the Bartender was friendly and a lot of fun and a great atmosphere; all in a beautiful log cabin.”
“Purchased a cinnamon roll cake and some muffins. The lady that helped us was wonderful. After we got home from our motorcycle ride we tried them all. I must say the cinnamon roll cake is absolutely amazing. My wife really enjoyed the muffins. This will definitely be a go to place on some of our bike rides this summer. Will recommend to all of our friends. Thanks again”
“Super accommodating, party of 12 phone in same day. You can tell this is the locals place. Food was surprisingly good. Mac n Cheese bites were gone in seconds. Chowder exceeded my expectations and was very large! Brownie Sunday was a tad dry and wasn't "sizzling" the time it got to table. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers and prime rib. Stacey, are server, did a fantastic job!”
“Underground Coffee Roasters in Vermont deserves an unequivocal five-star rating for its outstanding commitment to the art of coffee, creating an experience that coffee aficionados and casual drinkers alike can't help but love. The cozy ambiance of the underground space provides the perfect backdrop for savoring expertly roasted and brewed coffee. What truly sets this roastery apart is their divine maple latte--a local favorite that has captured the hearts (and taste buds) of everyone who walks through the door. The subtle sweetness of Vermont's signature maple flavor harmoniously blends with the rich espresso, creating a latte that's both comforting and indulgent. The staff's passion for coffee is palpable, and their friendliness only adds to the overall charm of this hidden gem. Underground Coffee Roasters is undeniably a must-visit spot for those seeking an authentic and delightful coffee experience in the heart of Vermont.”
“Love the salmon caesar so much I can't order anything else here. Prices reasonable, ambiance to match. Family favorite on way to snowboarding and way home.Kid-friendliness: Solid kids menu with 7 items or so and free drink”
“VT is a special place and Iron Loft is the epitome of the things that make us love coming here. The wonderful flavors, fun and attentive staff and amazing views of the mountain. Our favorite place to eat in a skiers paradise.”
“This is a phenomenal little cozy Vermont restaurant. Delicious American fare, cooked perfectly. An incredible beer lineup too. Guitarist on a Monday night to boot. Families here and feels like a place run by a family who genuinely cares about the restaurant experience. Bravo!”
“I am writing this review as someone who did not eat here but was with a group of people who ate here. Walking by this place, it smells AMAZING. Everyone enjoyed the waffles in my group and thought they tasted great. They were quite messy though and you are only given a paper to hold it which definitely made eating this messy. The coffee here was alright, and they unfortunately are not inclusive of people who may have a dairy sensitivity or are vegan. I would have loved to be able to try something here, but unfortunately couldn't. 4/5 stars since the inclusivity isn't there and the coffee was alright, but everyone genuinely enjoyed their waffles. A good option for when you finish going down the slopes at mount snow.”
