Driving home through Vermont I stumbled across the Avacado Pit and I am glad I did.Wonderful fresh food in a quaint little town. The meats and vegetable taco and burrito options were fresh and delicious. The menu was limited, but just right for the genre of food!!
We were traveling through the area and ate at the Avocado Pit twice. Both times the food was served quickly, and even more importantly, it was tasty and healthy. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. I especially enjoyed the "Pit Bowl" in vegetarian format with a nice salsa and pickled onions. Staff was very friendly also. All-around great place.Vegetarian options: Options to have black beans or pinto beans instead of meat. No hassles at all with ordering vegetarian food.

Overall, this isn’t a bad substitute for a Chipotle kind of restaurant in the area. I got a burrito bowl and while it was a bit pricey, the food was good and the staff were super friendly. I also appreciated the multitude of drink options.
