The corn mix, Mexican rice, and beans were yummy and reminded me or Tex Mex food! Sadly, the tamales were too salty and I could not finish them. The best dish was the empanadas--they were not too doughy and I loved the filling. Heck, I wish the empanada was overfilled!

SO good and a great price for the taco combo! I love to get to try everything. plus horchata, Jamaica, tres leches and a full ice cream counter! I wish I lived closer, this is a lot better than what's near me

What a pleasant place foe lunch. Indoor picnic tables. Excellent street tacos. Their Nachos were also fantastic. Generous quantity of food with awesome flavors. Well worth a visit. I know I'll be back!Parking: I was able to park right in front of the building, shared with a nursery. It wowks!Kid-friendliness: Excellent food and tge kids can be taken in to the garden and landscaping building to look at Mexican style pottery while your food is being prepared.Wheelchair accessibility: Park at the front door and door is easily opened.

Over 20$ for three tiny over cooked blobs of cornmeal with very little filling on was just peas and carrots nothing else these are by far the worst excuse I've every seen for tamales this place is a disgrace to Mexican

The food was made fresh and was delicious! I had (5) Carne Asada tacos. Could only eat 2 and brought the rest home. Made for a great dinner the next night too! Highly recommend this place. It's attached to a landscaping nursery. You can browse while your meal is being prepared. Very nice ambiance. The service was very good!

We were traveling and we went to Montpelier VT and we found this business that sells Mexican food located in a gas station, the food is excellent as well as the attention is worth recommending ?

The food is amazing! I don't think I've ever had better nachos. They were so cheesy and meat-filled!

My 1st and last visit to Arandas on the Barre-Montpelier Rd.I waited 45 minutes for Chimichangas that were not even luke warm when they arrived.A PET CAT was hopping from tabletop to tabletop and sitting down to rest on the dining surface between "hops".. there was food spillage from an earlier customer on 2 of the tables.Unfortunately, by the time I got the food, I didn't have time to have it "corrected". This place does a LOT of "call-in - take-out" business.I also resent being asked to declare the amount of a TIP BEFORE it's been cooked.Maybe they shouldn't even be OFFERING a dine-in policy. I will not be a repeat customer.

Would have given 6 stars if I could. What I presume to be the owner (named Squeaky) stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. One pet was all it took. The quality of the owner's coat could only be the result of a diet rich in tacos. The people that work there are pretty nice too!

Best and ONLY authentic Mexican foodi have come across in the state. Part of me never wants to tell anyone so it’s a secret, yet everyone needs to know because they deserve as much business as possible.I wasn’t going to write a review but after reading the negative reviews I had to post. We are in Vermont, about as white and plain as it gets as far as people and their taste. Most of these negative reviews really show you that… to salty?? Too spicy?? Expensive?? Go to taco bell people with Americanized “Mexican” food. It’s a shame because this food is authentic and made with pride. If ya know ya know, if you don’t then you never have had true Mexican cuisine. Go to Burlington and have a white college kid make your taco and enjoy.Keep doing what you do guys, this food warms my soul. #nomoregringotacos

Some of the best, most authentic Mexican food you will find. Fresh ingredients, great choices, and even better taste! Friendly staff and no frills experience. Absolutely worth the visit.

Rice is meh, refried beans are good, hot chocolate not a mix I think (bonus points here) but made in water so meh, green enchilada sauce good, red sauce is not (tastes like blended from a jar). Burrito filling was not very flavorful but it was large.Pretty good food overall, but feels super overpriced especially when it’s all to go containers and plastic utensils. $45 for a burrito enchiladas and a hot chocolate before tax which is what I would pay in Boston.
