I went to the Wayside Restaurant the other day. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. She did a great job. The food was ready in a short time and was delicious. I was very satisfied and it also is clean and neat. Definitely would recommend the restaurant.
I brought a bunch of students to this fine establishment on Monday evening and we were served by Theresa, who can banter with the best! She took excellent care of us. The apple pie with cheddar and the maple cream pie were legendary! All of the food was excellent, but the chicken parm was exceptional. Thank you, Wayside, for an uplifting evening and being stalwart in central Vermont!

Wayside Restaurant in Central Vermont is known for excellent service and a large menu with many delicious items. The staff are friendly and keep the floor hot, answering questions about the menu. The soup is very good and the rolls are amazing, especially the breakfast rolls, which are the best. However, some visits have had poor food quality: entrees were dried out and not warm, and service was not very good. When the food is fresh, it is delicious; the apple pie with cheddar and the maple cream pie are legendary, and the chicken parm is exceptional. The restaurant is clean, neat, and offers reasonable prices.
