DO NOT GO HEREMy husband and I were being placed in temporary housing while we fixed our van and when we got here the man who checked us in took copies of our i.d's and THEN refused to accept us because of our seizure service dog, wouldn't even let us keep her in the van one night so we could figure out where we could go. He screamed in my husband's face for twenty minutes about our dog and about trump and then when he was asked if he was just saying we couldn't stay because he saw my husband is an immigrant and all he had for a response was to turn beet red and scream that he was calling the police. All the while I was being approached by half clothed meth head men outside.

This place smells really really bad. Dirty carpeting.. nobody should stay at this place. It is unlivable. Very unsanitary. Cafe? I shudder to think what that would even be like

I've stayed here on several different occasions the owner is very respectful as long as u obey all of the rules if u don't follow the rules then there are consequences to deal with if you cant accept the consequences then don't break rules yes they are strict but if people follow the rules they wouldnt have to be strict very clean roomy and homey

Honestly, it isn't a high-end establishment, and although the prices are fairly low, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! It is the very definition of sleezy motel. There is no cafe on the premises and amenities are pretty much non-existent. Not the cleanest place either. I found a used straw in my bed, so I'm not sure whether or not sheets were cleaned prior to my stay. The floor to the shower is crooked. There was a strong odor of urine in the corner near the bed I was staying in. The beds are very uncomfortable. The pillows are old and flat, and you only get two per bed, so you might consider packing your own pillow because you just never know! When I first arrived, the heat was off, it was winter, and I had to wait in the cold for a few hours until it warmed up again. I wasn't told about this until after I had paid for the room. After 8 pm, no calls will be transferred to your room, so don't expect that! The owners retreat to their apartment and are nowhere to be found. The woman who owns the place is not friendly in the least and likes to hover. She is completely unhelpful and oftentimes rude. IF THAT ISN'T BAD ENOUGH, THE OWNER ENTERS ROOMS WITHOUT PERMISSION. Not only did she walk right in on a friend of mine, but when I came back to my room after going to town, I noticed my belongings had been gone through. Don't expect to get good cell phone reception - my cell is on the Sprint Network and didn't work AT ALL. There are plenty of other places on the same stretch of Route 7, and unless you're trying to save yourself money, I would advise going to one of the other establishments. This place isn't worth the hassle at all!

Great Staff and great place for those with high blood pressure, Can walk out of room 24 window and see a great view of southwestern Vermont.
