Caroline's Scottish Bakery

This is a home bakery. To buy, you call Caroline and she meets you outside with a selection of what's for sale. The shortbread and rum balls were delicious - very high quality, lots of flavor and perfect texture. Caroline and her husband were really friendly and went the extra mile to welcome us.

The scones are top notch and the shortbread melts in your mouth. And I told them through email that it was a gift asking them not to include a receipt in the package. Not only did they do that, but wrapped it up in tartan paper with a bow and included a nice card. The gift recipient was very impressed. I will order from them in the future.

What a gift to the area! Caroline and her husband are lovely bakers and hosts. Shortbread is delectable and I’m sure the rum balls are great too. They are a growing business that we hope visitors and residents embrace!

I live in NYC and have a coworker in North Bennington I wanted to send some birthday desserts to. Not only did Caroline reply back quickly to my phone call, but she went the extra mile in communicating with me about my order, and wrapping it up in a special way for my coworker. My coworker said the desserts were fantastic. I can't recommend her bakery enough.

The danishes we purchased this morning at the farmer's market were flaky and delicious!
