What an awesome market/deli/shop! Friends stumbled in here accidentally last week and had some sandwiches that they raved about....so we joined them and got a big takeout order. The place is immaculate and the sandwiches are fantastic. Friends highly recommend the London broil - customize the sandwich however you like it. Lovely, happy, smiley peeps behind the counter. The market has a bunch of sides, beverages and other goodies to grab and go.

Run don’t walk to try their “The Ultimate Grilled Ham and Cheese Panini”. The combination of flavors that greets you is amazing. Welcoming and attentive service also notable.

Haven't been in a long time. Been wanting to get back. Period. They have unique sandwiches. They are huge. It's hard to finish it in one sitting. I think it's called the mayor. I'm not positive something governmental like that. It is a great great sandwich. have one again if you're passing through Vermont looking for somewhere, stop at the market and they'll give you the best sandwich you've ever had.

Ordered a Rachel sandwich and it was absolutely delicious...Nice treat, but kinda pricey to be a regular thing.

I’m from mass and I come to work in Bennington every few weeks. Every time I get the wild bill sandwich and rant and rave about it to everyone. It’s delicious. However, today I picked up my sandwich and began to eat it. Several pieces of hard white plastic spread across my sandwich. Pretty sure I accidentally swallowed one or 2. Not super happy.

Food was pretty good. We ordered The Mayor Mark and The Mad Hatter. They were out of the pretzel buns for The Mad Hatter so we got it on white bread which is more traditional anyway. The Mad Hatter was a 8/10. Perfectly cooked crispy bacon that didn't have any stringy grisly bits that can sometimes happen with bacon. Shredded lettuce is a great choice so everything just perfectly comes apart easily into a delicious bite in your mouth. The Mayor Mark was 5/10 but I didn't care for the taste of the particular avocados that were used. I'm from California and am a little picky when it comes to my avocados (Hass from Mexico are my go-to). 10/10 on the quantity of meat in both sandwiches though. The market side of the store is very niche and had a quaint feel with unique items. Definitely a great little place to stop and eat. Would like to see indoor seating as the only tables were outside and it was snowing so we took our food to go.

Why oh why does Google not let me give this place 6 stars?? The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, the area is amazing. We went here twice in one day. Personally I loved the breakfast bagel more than I was expecting to love a sandwich and when people attend me and the Bagel sandwiches wedding they will see the love in my eyes... what was I saying oh thats right, this place is a MUST stop and a must stop more than once! I cant wait for more! Thanks!!Parking: Parking was tight but its worth it!!

I ordered lunch online as I was running to work. The owner talked down at me that I was too early for picking up the order and kinda rude about it. I loved the food but I won’t be talked to like that. You’ve lost a customer.

My sandwich was excellent. They have a menu that is varied and they are quick and so friendly. They have a variety of products so I guess that's why they have the word market in their name. And the atmosphere is very pleasant and clean.

Frequently order from here. Order on line and food is always ready when they say it will be. Friendly staff, clean store and a beautiful little out door space to sit and eat. Sandwiches are delicious. A box lunch is perfect to pick up for heading to work or a picnic.
