Passing through town from NY, didn't think I would be able to find a place with good food. This place has incredible food!!.. I refuse to eat at chain restaurants or gas station food. So happy I found Island Flavor! You have to give it a try.
Although this business serves actual authentic Jamaican food that taste great, when i went and it was not late, they only had two or three things on the menu. No patties, No goat, not oxtail. What kind of Jamaican restaurant doesn't have even patties...? Highly disappointing.

Wife and I drove from NY to Vermont to island Flavors because Jamaican food is one of those spicy foods that once in awhile you just HAVE TO HAVE... So the drive was worth it 😁.
I got the curry goat and the wife got curry chicken though it was a bit boney I think this contributes to the flavor of the dish, needles to say we didn't wait to get all the way home to eat it. Found a safe place to pull off on rt 7 west to try it...
