If you’re familiar with Chipotle or Moe’s at all, Avocado Pit is very similar in that they serve burritos or burrito bowls and other items that you build with employee assistance and questions. This location is inside an old historic building so I thought the atmosphere was pretty great and the food was delicious, albeit a bit pricey. Definitely a good lunch option if you’re in downtown Bennington.
Really really good food. My all time favorite at the moment, I go minimum twice a week usually. I'm in there so much they know my order with all of the customizations without me having to tell them. Really nice people too, always friendly. I especially like it ever since they switched from ground beef to shredded beef, so glad they made that change. Great food though, huge fan

I got a chicken burrito it was amazing. The man behind the counter was super friendly and polite and welcoming. Nice to walk in a place and get treated nicely and get amazing food and the price was great. Thank you I will be back soon.

Everything is made in house. We were personally attended to, and we were offered samples beforehand to ensure we would love it. Food was delicious, ample room for dining, quick service. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Great choice for a quick bite!

Ersatz Mexican food is always several steps behind real Mexican food but for what it is supposed to be, the food is acceptable. Not in the same league as its better known chains but good enough for Bennington when you want something quick and easy.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a separate entrance labeled as accessible although the main entrance appears to also be wheelchair accessible.

my favorite is the regular beef burrito. I noticed the burrito had gotten a little smaller since i had it last. I guess the effects of inflation. We tried the street tacos good as well just got soggy during our quick drive home. We will probably eat in next time.
