We had a great time here, the staff was so friendly, we had an excellent room with plenty of privacy, the drinks were excellent and the food was excellent. Overall one of my very favorite places to go in Bennington, just be sure to make a reservation.Kid-friendliness: I would not bring your children. There was a person there who had a potty mouth and they were very loud.

This place is a must if you're near. Sit outside, listen to the stream, sip on cocktails made with intention and enjoy your life. The food isn't the point, but it works for a snack between sips.

Neat atmosphere but they try a bit too hard. Seating is cramped and uncomfortable, think eating on your couch from the coffee table. Wants to emulate a speak easy but slightly misses the mark. Rush patrons out the door, only want them seated for 2 hour max.

after a long week, i wanted to eat out alone and relax - this spot was perfect for that! they accommodated me without a reservation, and has excellent service.the food was also WONDERFUL, as was the lavender mint mocktail and affagato. bennington is a bit of a drive for me, but i'll definitely be making it again for this place.

Millers Toll feels like a cheap rip off of a Chippendale lounge.As I sit on a sofa and drink my poorly made cocktail behind an awkward curtain, I anxiously await a young man to appear dressed in nothing but a bow tie and Velcro pants to give me a lap dance… but he never comes.Instead what arrives is plate of poorly executed stoner food in a pretentious setting.The clientele they are going for seems to be drunken wine moms that want nothing more than to be “hip”.If you enjoy good food and authenticity, this is not the spot for you.*response to owner-We did have a reservation… that did not mitigate the awkwardness of our experience. Sitting on a sofa with a tiny coffee table and having to turn your head during conversation is not my idea of a comfortable setting for a restaurant.The menu had no cohesion. The “mushroom pate” was hardly pate… it was cream cheese in a ramecan. Nothing seemed fresh or made from scratch. Putting tacos, “Korean bbq” and Mediterranean inspired food on the same menu doesn’t make a lick of sense and only shows a lack of research or respect for traditional ethnic food.Realistically, I shouldn’t ever set my experience too high in Bennington.
