Very nice restaurant. Good wait service and good food. Salad bar is a plus with homemade bread. The dining rooms are pleasant with room to enjoy your dining while not sitting crowded!

Came here with my boyfriend for my 30th birthday. The food was delicious, and the ambience was perfect. Food came out at a great pace and I left feeling full and totally satisfied. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice restaurant to enjoy a special occasion or intimate date night.

We changed our request from outside to inside which made a problem for them which was eventually solved to our satisfaction. The Cobb Salad was not up to the Salad Bar which was excellent as was the meatloaf. All in all we had a great time getting together as a family.

Where do I start! The Publyk House is such an amazing establishment with friendly and talented staff. We had our wedding at the end of June 2025. We booked the Tavern Room for our rehearsal dinner and it was perfect! They accommodated us being gluten free and the food was incredible….especially the peach cobbler! We were also able to enjoy the view from the patio during the sunset. And for the big shoutout - when our original catered canceled on us 4 days before our wedding, the Publyk House stepped up and was able to save our wedding day. Kathy, Frank and the rest of the staff were so incredibly helpful and kind to us. They were even able to make the same menu we had originally planned for! We would not have been able to have such a perfect wedding day without them. We will forever be grateful for this team!!

The young man who was our server did an outstanding job! The brisket, beans, cornbread and maple butter were delicious!!! If you like carrot cake , it's amazing! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back!!!

Overall good experience, appetizers and salad bar very tasty . Baked brie was very well prepared and presented. We enjoyed that in particular. The entrees were slightly disappointing the 5 meat was very dry and BBQ sauce overbearing. The bacon wrapped chicken was good but the sides were over cooked reheated and too soft . We feel that we could have enjoyed our visit more if we ordered differently and spent less then 150$ for 2 people with only 1 alcoholic beverage so we are going to give it another try from a different angle

Alysse is an amazing server, salad bar is a 10 but they are stingy about kids getting it for some odd reason. Meals are overpriced for quality and taste but salad bar makes it worth it. I’d rather just get a salad bar but it’s almost the same price as it is with an entree so kind of silly to do so. Beautiful building though and great views.
I think we got them on an 'off night'. Service was just not good, we waited and had to ask bartender about getting seated. Then server and waiter both forgot our drink order. Never got bread we asked for, never got players and silverware so I walked inside and took them off another table. Burger was well done instead of medium rare. Didn't complain but seriously hope they do better next time so this can be updated.

Simply outstanding. It's rare these days to see salad bars but while that alone would warrant great ratings here, it is only one element of what was a really terrific meal. Friendly service, good plating and portions, attractive price-points (with nightly specials making them even better) and a wonderful view. Certainly the best in the area!

My husband and I and our two small dogs were staying at the hotel next to the restaurant so we decided to get takeout and it was amazing!!! Food was absolutely delicious !!!Service was outstanding and we will definitely be back at the end of summer for a little weekend getaway and will be back to eat here for sure!!!!

We sat out on the patio-gorgeous view. The wine and drink menu awesome and lots of local VT beers. It is great to have the salad bar option and it was filled with super fresh items. Prime rib delicious, eggplant delicious, kids food abundant and fried platter overflowing! Service was prompt and friendly-going back again and again!
