We live in NYS, a short drive from The Publyk House. We have been there many times and always appreciate the food, service and environment. Folks are friendly, lots of food options; salad bar ALWAYS worth a visit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Publyk House and if we have company and want to go out for dinner, we head for "the hill!" In warm weather, the outside dining option is just wonderful.

I have been there many times but unfortunately this was a not so good experience. order the king cut Prime Rib, I ordered med got well done asked the person next to me what size did he get? he said queen, it was bigger than the king cut I ordered! the bread was about 2 days old. I got a ice cream scoop of brown mashed potatoes. not one to complain but this was horrible! I have had many good meals there.

This used to be one of our favorite places to go. There were seven of us going to dinner. One of us had a steak that wasn't edible. The cole slaw was tasteless, two people ordered the fried seafood dinner platter, which was basically frozen fish, still partially frozen, the french fries were good; were never checked on for second drinks or received water refills; one of us never received her soup after two reminders; the second loaf of bread never came out; we didn't see our server enough to even ask for any of these things; we don't get to go here very often so we were really disappointed that it had gone downhill so much since the last time we were here. The place is still beautiful on the inside though!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the active fireplaces added an extra rich and cozy touch. The service was very attentive, and the food was excellent from start to finish. A wonderful dining experience all around — highly recommend!

Last night we had a birthday party of 13. Our waitress was Zoe Gress. We cannot say enough amazing things about her service!! Never missed a beat and handled it like a boss. Thank you for a great experience.

Food was good. I had the mushroom ravioli. The buttermilk calamari was very good. Its has a very casual atmosphere. We were a little turned off by the salad bar. I wasn't a fan pre covid and I won't eat from them now. My wife's drinks, a margerita and a s'more martini she said we're both good and also strong.
