Visiting the area after many years away, we were eager to dine at the Publyk House again. Maybe a Saturday evening was a mistake.The place was packed, but we'd made reservations, and service was prompt and cheerful enough. We managed to get to the salad bar on our 3rd try (1st & 2nd, we couldn't even get into the room). I didn't think anyone still did salad bars. No social distancing here, we were packed in like sardines. And for what they charge, you'd think the server would bring the salad to the table rather than make customers forage for it. Good think I didn't give up, since the entrée was inedible. While it looked wonderful on the plate, to quote Tony Lip, "... to make it taste good without the salt with just the other flavors, that's the trick." I could taste nothing but salt.Sadly, I guess you really can't go home again.

The has become our absolute FAVORITE restaurant! Classy, elegant, not terribly expensive, and yes, Delicious!!! The service is always top notch here. The outdoor seating is amazing! Hands down favorite!!!

We made a reservation for 6 and we were sat in the last room at a beautiful large round table. The atmosphere was beautiful. The room was all windows where we could see the sunset over the mountains. We had two children in our group and we were very happy with the children's accommodations. They had a good kids menu and provided paper and crayons. The high chair was spotless which is very rare even at nice restaurants. The kids meals came with a drink and ice cream for dessert. Our entrees came with a salad bar which was outstanding. Everything was fresh and they had staff attending the salad bar to make sure it was stocked and clean. We had the baked Brie and artichoke dip appetizers and they were delicious. I had a pork osso bucco special which in my opinion could have been a little more tender but the flavor and sides were excellent. Everyone else also very much enjoyed their meals. The ONLY complaint I would have is there was a very strong marijuana smell. It smelled as if someone was smoking in the room with us. This could have been someone smoking right outside or in the kitchen or even a patron vaping and hiding it so I can't definitely fault the restaurant. Just something that's not ideal while dining with my young children, but like I said not necessarily the restaurants fault.

So many gluten free options! We ordered the artichoke and spinach dip, Caesar salad, GF shrimp scampi, and other things. They even have a GF bread roll the can bring you with maple butter. Yum! I thought everything was absolutely delicious and only had a couple minor critiques - the chips with the s&a dip were on the stale side and the Caesar salad was nothing special. Otherwise, absolutely loved our meal and would recommend the spot.

We enjoy coming here. I get the Mac and cheese; my Fiancé gets the Hawaiian chicken. The bread and butter is delicious. Service is great, and we love the atmosphere-- good views, and fire place. Cozy winter spot.

Don't bother. Overcooked salmon drowning (along with the overcooked string beans) in maple syrup and pecans...poor things :( NY strip, tough to chew...salad bar appeared as if a freight train came through. Waiter was a nice kid...too bad, we won't return.

FANTASTIC. We arrived just in time to watch a colorful sunset seated next to a huge roaring fireplace. Quite romantic. The salad bar is excellent. Our sirloin steak was the best we have ever had. When we left, the place was packed. Reservations are a must! Go here.
