My company Hager Photography had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding here at Lake Bomoseen Lodge just a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great New England wedding experience. They offer STUNNING scenery, the interior is unique and fun and the staff amazing. You really can't go wrong here!
My husband and I got married here 3 months ago and it's taken me some time to write a review that does this place justice. Rebecca and I communicated frequently from when we booked the venue, until the day of, and even after as she has checked in. We loved this restaurant! We ate here 2 nights in a row. The sweet potato hummus was delicious and a must try (we ordered it both times)! Each dinner entree purchased was just as good. We were a party of 3 and ordered different entrees each night. All the food was well seasoned and cooked well.They had a nice beer selection and the mixed drinks were good. Lake Bomoseen Lodge Taproom is a very nice looking rustic but upscale bar and restaurant overlooking the lake. It is a beautiful and gorgeous setting with amazing and grand scenery, especially over the lake at sunset. Great views are available from many different tables inside and out, including from the outside patio and a hilltop spot.
The atmosphere is incredible, with a lot of energy. It is a terrific wedding venue for small and medium weddings, with a ceremony site on the lawn by the lake. Everything is well organized and beautifully arranged. There is a lot to do right on site, including kayaking, swimming, pickleball, and volleyball. The rooms are clean and modern with a fun lake vibe.
The food is amazing, quite good, and great. Menu items like appetizers, pizza, and sandwiches are enjoyed, with good portions. The service is even better, great, friendly, attentive, and professional. Staff work hard to take care of everyone even when very busy. Live music adds to the overall great, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. It is an amazing night and a place to try again and recommend.
