Nice small diner in the heart of Brandon, VT. The service is always friendly and fast. Food is good with vegetarian options and plant-based eaters can have them build a veggie burito wrap to order.

Mae's is an absolute fantastic place to get a breakfast on a Sunday morning!

The Erin (owner) was running the floor today by herself and was absolutely killing it. That women is an absolute super hero!

There was a little wait in food but it's so WORTH IT.

The Maple-Mosa is a MUST!

Their were to die for and real local VT maple syrup that can't be beat. They up charge for fake syrup which they absolutely should!

I can't say enough about my favorite restaurant and would highly recommend this spot to everyone.

Waitress was preoccupied, standing outside when we arrived and didn’t come in to serve us for 5-10 minutes. We were the only customers and quickly understood why

Three of us had lunch at Mae’s this Monday. The good: My Not My First Rodeo burger was excellent. Cooked perfectly, generously sized, just a well executed burger! My mother’s sweet potato fries were also very good. Hot and crisp and again generous portion. The bad: My wife’s “hot” gravy burger was served with lukewarm gravy. Making the lukewarm gravy even less appealing was the fact that our French fries were greasy, soggy, limp, and also served lukewarm. This review could have easily been 5 stars, burger was great but soggy fries and lukewarm food is just not good.

We stopped by here for brunch leaving from Sugarbush. The food was great and so was service. We had the crabcake benedict, Irish egg benedict, omelette and waffle and they were all very good. The atmosphere was very welcoming.

If you find yourself in Brandon Vermont you should stop at Mae's Place.
I was truly impressed with the friendly hometown feeling from the staff and patrons. The decor was simple and clean. The fried pickles were awesome. I had a southwest chicken wrap that was tasty and a little bland for me. But I like spicy food. The zesty waffle fries were very good. Everything added up to a great dining experience.

Parking: We parked across the street because we were enjoying the farmers market as well.
There is 2 parking lots that are not to far away. Plenty of parking around the business and the park.
