Great service, when they're busy you can tell they're trying their hardest to get to you! Amazing pancakes- so so bacon on the side though. And the ambience is super cute! If you're looking for sit down breakfast save the drive to Rutland and go to Mae's!!”

“Dog friendly (outdoor seating) in the warmer months. Some seats are covered but we sat out in the open which was perfect on a comfortable day as the sun was getting into the shadows. They bring bowls of ice water out almost immediately for the dogs. Food was absolutely wonderful, with the exception of the cheesecake I didn't feel was as good as everything else we ate (was not bad, just nothing special nor my preferred type of cheesecake, YMMV). We had a few apps including the escargot salad. For an entrée I had the salmon wrapped scallops. Scallops are always a dicey order and often aren't cooked properly but everything was put together and cooked perfectly. The beer list was nice with a lot of local craft brews. Very relaxing meal with great service and food.Parking: Park on the street and walk around the town a bit or head straight in.”

“As we departed from Whiting we came across this awesome winery and to a wonderful surprise meeting Lizzy also from our country Puerto Rico who gave us great suggestions for the wine tasting and also for the beer tasting. Both were amazing! Enjoyed the folliage in the backyard while we enjoyed our tastings with a golfing view. Will be back!”

“Came here with my friend, her husband, and their 1 year old. The hostess seated us at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. There was a 4 top open that wasn't set yet but she did not offer it to us. Maybe 10 mins later a couple walked in and they also did not have a reservation and were seated at the 4 top. Seriously? Our party had 3 adults and a kid and they seated us at the bar and the couple got seated at a 4 top? A bit annoying to say the least... Appetizer was good although the spinach-artichoke dip was a bit oily. Food was pretty good as well. Waffle fries were hot and coleslaw was delish with the fresh herbs. However, my fried chicken thighs were a bit dry and overcooked and definitely nowhere near as hot as my fries. Kind of disappointing for a place known for its fried chicken. Fairly small place on the inside. Next time I will know to call ahead and make a reservation. Despite the annoyance with the seating and lackluster fried chicken, my friends enjoyed their meals and our server was very friendly and attentive. The place is cute, one of those true VT gems and I will most likely be coming back (and hopefully the chicken will be hotter and moister next time!).”

“Absolutely amazing chicken wings! Sunday special wings are half priced for dine in! We tried 5 different kinds and definitely going back to try all of the rest! The staff are super friendly and their customers all friendly and happy. Great atmosphere, food, service, and all around experience. Highly recommend it”

“Pretty decent, albeit expensive, pizza. $20 will get you a large cheese and it was pretty good. I didn't like what the pizza in the hot case looked like though as it had been sitting in there all day and was dried out.They have a variety of prepared salads too. I got their baked beans which were pretty darn good.”

“Our experience at Paddlers Pub was great We went 3 times during our vacation! It's convenient, amazing views and super friendly staff. Like most places around the country right now they seemed short staffed, but that's understandable. The food was really good...the shrimp & spinach salad was fabulous, I ordered all 3 times. That dressing, so good! My family loved everything they got (except the pizza, skip that). The drinks were cold and they have great options for being the only place to get one. Have to give a shout out to the guys running the marina too, they were so accommodating and friendly. The whole atmosphere was just warm and welcoming. We can't wait to return!”
