“One of the best places to eat in the area! Always great food, excellent service, reasonable prices and always busy too! ??Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids and they have a kids menu too!”
“Warm hometown feeling (even though we're seasonal visitors to the Lake) as it's decorated with awesome photos of the local youth from surrounding towns along with beautiful model ships that my daughter loved. Very friendly patrons there (hometown feel), welcoming staff, including the cooks peeking out to see how things were going and to say hi. Starter salads were fresh and tastey, amazing warm rolls served (I wanted 5 more ?), and I went with the oven baked haddock, which was a delightful dish and my first time having that fish. My wife enjoyed a very nice helping of oven fried shrimp with linguine. All and all, it was better than I was expecting and definitely worth checking out and supporting local.(And no, it's not a coffee shop)Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere to bring children.”
“I love C-Rock! I go daily, and usually also deliver drinks to my co-workers as well! My favorite teas are the Watermelon Crawl and the Cool Cucumber! So refreshing! If I'm feeling hungry I grab a toffee coffee shake or a protein bar for a quick on the go snack/meal!”
“Exactly what we needed after a day of skiing. Had the Vermonter pizza which was so good. The maple garlic butter was unreal. Also had the Ladka burger which hit the spot so hard. Fried pickles were nice and crispy. Full rack of ribs and poutine to top it all off and we were very happy after an active day. There was also a guitarist playing that Friday night who really contributed to the fun. He came over and played next to us and stopped to chat before the night was over. Awesome small town vibes.”
“What a gem! I stop by every time I visit the area. They have carefully selected Vermont draft beers (had Lawson's Sip of Sunshine on this visit!), a very cool bar, awesome vibe, and great staff. Definitely check this place out.”
“We have stopped to eat here over 5 times and each visit was spectacular. The food is fresh. The fries are amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly, even under pressure. People need to realize that this is a college town, and the staff get overwhelmed with students frequently. That said, they handle it extremely well and get food out very quickly. The place has always been clean and well stocked. Keep up the good work! ??”
“By far the cleanest dunkin in the area, the staff is always so friendly and laughing whenever i come in. I come all the way from rutland to this dunkin! They always make my order right and it tastes delicious.”
“stopped at mary's after leaving killington mt. for a snowboarding trip. very cute. definetly a local spot. the staff was very nice and friendly. all of the food came out quickly and was delicious ! the monte cristo (not pictured) was awesome ! good maple syrup.”
“This is a great burger place! Go in grab a burger and drink. Don't forget to play a game of pool while you're at it. They have daily specials. Tonight's was a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich that was delicious!!! The staff are all super friendly and the vibe is chill.”
“Amazing pizza and we are happy to be moving to this town that has a delicious pizza restaurant. Service is great as well!Kid-friendliness: Restaurant high chairs”
“Really good beer, sandwiches and super staff. They make stouts, porters, pilsners and Scottish Ale and IPA.Not an IPA fan so I love the choices.Too many Vermont establishments are 80% IPAs..not for me. I love this place!”
“Best reuben ever. Granddaughters and I had a very enjoyable dinner. They had items on the menu for even the fussiest of eaters. Don't forget to get the strawberry shortcake !!!”
“Huge portions. Excellent home cooking. Nice big menu variety. We eat there as often as we can, always look forward to it. One of the best restaurants around for sure.”
“My wife and I came here for our wedding Anniversary. One of the best experiences we’ve had together dining out. Beautiful restaurant, wonderful service and delicious food. We’ll be back soon.”
“Super place to play pool and get tasty, thoughtfully prepared snacks. Gail, the owner, runs a great shop. Friendly tavern culture. Met some other nice (and good) pool players. Strongly recommend Westside if you are looking for a civilized pool/tavern experience. Prices beyond reasonable.”
“Absolutely amazing chicken wings! Sunday special wings are half priced for dine in! We tried 5 different kinds and definitely going back to try all of the rest! The staff are super friendly and their customers all friendly and happy. Great atmosphere, food, service, and all around experience. Highly recommend it”
“Small, local bar in West Rutland. There's a covered outdoor section and a bowling video game inside the bar. No food is currently served. Limited parking out front of the bar but most parking is on the street. Friendly and sweet owner.”
“I order daily often! It started with my daughters birthday cake and then other random events! She even attempted her first banana foster cake for us which was AMAZING!!”
“It's Subway, man. This one, in particular, always does a very good job.Vegetarian options: They serve meat here, so probably not very vegan friendly. I'm not sure where vegetarians stand on that issue.”
“Don't judge a book by it's cover! This place doesn't look like much from the outside but if you want a great meal this place is it. Food and drinks were awesome and the service we got from Annie was the best!”
“Are you looking for a proper diner with friendly down home people and great food and coffee? You’ve found it. We drive down from Canada to watch our nephew play hockey (Go Spartans) 3 times a year and we Never miss an opportunity to go to The Diner! In fact we’re going there this morning.”
“The food was really good and the waitress and waiter we both very sweet and polite, I'd definitely come again and eat here. It's a nice diner and very ”
“Never had the food because I wouldn't go there to eat. We go to drink beer and make friends with the yokels. We have a house down the street but mainly live in MA so we stop in when we are in town. "Cheers" vibes, pool table, clean and they have pull tabs which is the VT version of Keno. Never had a poor experience.”
“Best BLT and I eat a lot of them. May sound strange but perfect ratio of BLT and mayo perfect toast ? Everyone else food was very good, and he’s a bit fussy ???”
“I grew up eating grinders from this place. Absolutely phenomenal quality with one of a kind homemade rolls made in house. Owners are so kind and the pizza, and pasta tastes like it's straight from Italy. I still make the 3 hour drive at least twice a month to get some food from this establishment. Good priced too. Highly highly recommend”
“Small town Chinese food. I wasn’t expecting much but it turned out to be fantastic. Great food. Big portions. I had curry chicken, shrimp lo mein, and two soups. Really good Chinese. Cash only, so bring greenbacks! Take away only. But friendly service and good food.”
“Ever since they started filling beverages for the customer, my wait is dreadfully long. I have to wait for orders of food to be served before they can fill my cup with soda and hand it to me. Sometimes the order is cleared, as if served; however, I haven’t been served yet. Sucks.”
“Haven't ordered a tape out pizza in a long time. decided to go to Paul's. Pizza was excellent. Service was super friendly. Price was normal for a one topping large pizza. We will be back!”
