“I live in Maine and heard about Southside Steakhouse from a friend. The service was great. Bruce was right on top of everything. The oysters 🦪 were delicious. I had the prime rib and let me tell you it was over the top delicious. I highly recommend it for service, food and drinks 🍹. I was very disappointed in the place allowing men to wear hats. Call me old fashioned but good manners are not that hard. It just looks disrespectful to your place of business. You are a very good restaurant and asking for men to remove their hat is only going to draw people back.”

“Every Sunday my partner and I try different diners. We made the hour and 10 minute drive today to try this restaurant. We were greeted immediately. The wait wasn't long. Our waitress was amazing. She answered all questions. She kept the coffee flowing. Food was hot and filling. We had no complaints from beginning to end. We will definitely be returning. “Best Grinders in the world, and I’ve been around at 92. Recently changed hands, better telephone service. Lived nearby for 11 years, now many hours away, but worth the trip, especially after a day of traveling home to take a well wrapped large Italian hot grinder out of the cooler and feast. Stays fresh and tasty.”
