“Absolutely love, LOVE this adorable restaurant. My great friend brought me here for the first time and I was blown away. The restaurant itself is so beautiful and simplistic, tasteful and warm. We ate at the bar and our bartender/ Waitress Colleen was wonderful. Cheerful and lovely. We had red wine to start paired with the P.E.I mussels in a tomato, basil, garlic white wine sauce and baked burratta with sweet plum tomatoes and focaccia bread. The mussels were perfect little bites of heaven with delicious dipping juices for the bread. The baked burratta was amazing with flavors just popping in your mouth with every bite. The bruschetta was to die for!! Thank you chef and Colleen for a wonderful first time visit. Will be sure to return soon.Jennie GoldbergWarren VT”
“Cozy little cabin with old school counter service and basic eats with a home cooked feel. We got a couple of breakfast sandwiches to go and some gifts for friends.Solid range of maple products. Various maple syrups, jams, maple sugar, maple cookies, maple candies, maple popcorn, etc and a souvenir shop downstairs.”
“A perfect spot for breakfast & baked goodies. I ordered the maple latte and it was incredible! I also picked up a cannoli (they are MTO!!!) a hot spinach & ricotta croissant and ham and cheese croissant- all were fantastic, light and buttery. The service was fast, the girls working were super friendly and the place was clean. Prices were reasonable as well - I purchased 5 items for $22. Perfect for a quick bite before the slopes”
“Just had the most delicious dinner from Yama Ramen. Ordered a chicken Summer roll and papaya salad, out of this world!!! Highly recommend it if you’re in the Killington area”
“Skratch Kitchen - VT’s best kept Secret - Hands down some of the best food I’ve had in Vermont and have been coming up here for since i was in diapers. My wife and 2 kids ( 5 & 7) are big foodies and difficult to impress. We strolled in on a whim since we were staying at the woods across the street. Extremely clean, well maintained and amazing atmosphere with live music. First night we shared a few apps “side of sausage”, “corn dip” and had salads for dinnr, our kids both had chix fingers and fries. The chicken fingers were home made not something out of a bag frozen. We Came back the next night and tried the “crispy Brussels” & egg rolls, they were bomb! Tacos and fried chicken sandwich followed, topped it off with the “brookie” dessert. Equally as impressed the 2nd night. If your looking for real food made from scratch and not the typical Vermont ehh dishes than this is your place. I promise you will not be disappointed! Friendly staff, very attentive, and well mannered. The only thing i can’t understand is anyone giving this restaurant a bad review, unless it’s local competition that’s envious of this place nailing every plate they serve, and if that’s the case come and take notes from the chef here ! I wish the owners of this place nothing but the best for many many years to com. Thank you for the hospitality !”
“You guys have it going on!! We live in Shrewsbury and found you last summer and you have the most delicious pizza !! We came in last night and our service was top notch! The food and service with a smile is sometimes missing out in the restaurant business these days!! We will be back again soon !”
“Went on a Saturday night after skiing. Was quite busy but we sat at the bar immediately. Great food and drinks. Staff was quick and attentive. Definitely will come back after a ski day again!”
“Perhaps it was the company. Perhaps it was the positive energy. But this was THE BEST pizza I ever had. The dough was a perfect consistency. Cheese filled every nook and cranny with luv. Toppings were fresh and so flavorful. Definitely worth the drive to enjoy this creation.”
“I spent a weekend in Rochester and enjoyed having breakfast here. Great coffee and breakfast food for any appetite. What really made it great was the staff. They had a really nice vibe and were friendly, funny and welcoming. If you are staying in or around Rochester or just driving through, stop by. You won’t be ”
“We love how they can surprise us every time with a new twist on something we love. Inventive cocktails, exquisite small plates, specials, and mains. Please keep this special place a secret!”
“Nice atmosphere and fast and friendly service! Really liked the French onion soup. Had the carnitas tacos and the pork belly tacos. Both were great, but liked the pork belly best.”
“The Killington Irish Festival is always fantastic! We have been twice. Great live music, traditional Irish dancers and delicious bangers and mash. And darn tasty Rueben’s. Emmitt, the owner, and his staff work very hard to make sure everyone has a good time. Plus, they always serve a properly poured Guinness.”
“Absolutely wonderful place to grab food on your way for a day of skiing! It's small and poplar because the food and drinks are delicious!! We also grabbed lunch here too ?”
“Absolute gem of an Inn, perfectly located off scenic Route 100 on the town green of a quintessential small VT village. The rooms were cozy, impeccably clean and equipped with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the delicious and convenient dinner at Docs Tavern connected to the Inn. Had such a great stay, already booked the same room for our next ski trip!”
“The Margherita Pizza I just had was remarkable. This guy knows what he's doing. I'm a pizza nut with very discerning taste. I've been to all the best pizza joints on the Eastern Seaboard. The pizza I just had, is second to none!”
“Fun place. First come first serve. So very long wait if you don't get the first seating. Appetizers are the best- lamb lollipop and garlic soup. The pasta mains were ok. Delicious pear martini.”
“A bit of a dive bar but in a good way. Bucket of wings hit the spot after a good day on the slopes. Live music and some bar games give the place a good vibe. Got busy later in the night. Will go back again.”
“Once again, The Foundry killed it! went there for my Bday dinner and Ryan again ordered some of the same , but also new items. The Elk Rack is AMAZING, the NY Steak and Hangar were cooked to perfection as always. The Tuna Tartar and Beef Sliders for apps were incredible. The 4 desserts were mouth watering. Jess our waitress was phenomenal as was the rest of the staff who joined in and had fun and laughs with us! Chef Michael came out to meet us personally and thank us for trying the different foods. Once again, we highly suggest you stop in for great food and great service!!”
“Great place to grab some asian grub after some solid runs.. if not doing Hibachi (usually they are all the same in food flavor) Get the Szechuan style beef with vegetable fried rice and ask for the hot oil peppers ? ? man it adds flavor... and get the authentic Japanese Soda... a blast... the hot and sour soup was delish....”
“Visited here on our Killington trip. Food was fantastic!! Potato-salmon pancake for an appetizer was so flavorful. Salads fresh Broccoli cheddar soup I could have licked the bowl. I had their special and husband had their lamb. Everything was delicious!!”
“We visited during our stay at Killington and were very happy with our experience. The owner was very helpful and ran a great business. Wish them nothing but success”
“Love everything about this place. Server was very attentive and kind. The food was excellent.Would recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican food. I love the fish Tacos with the homemade hot sauce.”
“Great food and atmosphere. Unfortunately we had to wait for a table for over an hour, as this place doesn't do any reservations... it was a gamble to get the table even after an hour, but my friend with three kids was able to convince one of the hosts...”
“Food was great burger was fantastic parking lot was difficult but that was the snow . The server could be nicer about a Togo I would ordered from the bar an sent my family to the car to wait if it was taking away from her I did tip 10 dollars as a Togo with 3 meals food was 44 dollars so very reasonableParking: Very steep at bottom of lot so outta towners watch for winter conditions”
“A really nice breakfast/lunch shop located near Killington ski area. Pro tip, stop in early if you want to make first chair at the mountain. Also can get bizzy! But that's because it's good! I grab eggs and coffee when I am in the area. If you have a hotel that doesn't offer breakfast, give em a try.”
“Every single detail. The experience of everybody taking such good care of you and your new friends in the back room. The host and every member doing their part. The ambience. The melt in your mouth food, starting with hors d’oeuvres and champagne.”
