“Nice atmosphere. Some seating overlooking the White river. This is "the place" to get sandwiches in Bethel, VT. They even sell bottles of wine.Parking: Some street parking. Free city parking lot across the street.”
“This place is amazing. The food was spectacular and our waitress was so kind to us. I went with a huge group and right away she made us all feel taken care of. Truly amazing homemade and delicious food.”
“Fantastic late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was fun, and the food was tasty. The menu has a variety of options for kids and adults. No complaints!Dietary restrictions: Many delicious salads for the gluten free!”
“Wonderful dinning experience with our family. Seafood was mouth watering good, amazing mountain views out the window, wood decor inside, exceeded expectations in many ways.”
“⚠️ ⚠️ Wild Fern is not open until 11am on the weekend. The owner, Heather, is a sweet and wonderful woman and doesn't deal much with the internet. I've submitted a change request. We arrived early, unbeknownst to us. Heather greeted us and let us know that she wasn't open until 11 and that she had to run some bread up the street, but that when she came back we were welcome to come in and sit while she opened. The exterior/diner/café itself is an artistic expression of who the owner is. We had a long stay here full of conversation with Heather, but had we never spoken a word we still would've known all about her.Atmosphere and service is world class. The food is made to order and it's completely fresh. Heather is self-taught, but you wouldn't have guessed. We ordered everything she offered that morning - donuts, waffles, and a bagel sandwich. The coffee was perfect and she's really enthusiastic about her tea selection. This place is more than breakfast. It's an experience if you're open to it.”
“What an exceptional little restaurant/bar. Absolutely loved the food. Simple and clever dishes, done with panache, but without being pretentious. It’s rare that a restaurant hits all the right buttons for me, but this place is really fantastic. Will visit every time I’m in Randolph. All the stars.”
“Happy we got the chance to check out the new space at One Main. Took the family and had an excellent lunch. The food was great, service second to none, and the new space was open, warm, and really family friendly. So kind and flexible with my kids and really really delicious food and drinks. A must in Central, VT. We would be regulars if we lived here but will be when we’re visiting!”
“Best food we’ve had in a long time. This place seriously cares about the quality of their food, and experience for the customers. Everyone working there should be proud of what they do!”
“The pizza was great. I am from Connecticut. Having pizza in a different state is like rolling the dice. My son and I were very pleased with the food. The restaurant was exactly what we wanted. Very nice staff and a home town atmosphere.”
“Eclairs, custom cupcakes, scones, Special order cakes and cinnamon rolls a sampling of what we have tried and all delicious and have loved them all. Highly recommend easy ordering process, super friendly owner and staff and absolutely delicious items.”
“My boyfriend and I were visiting from Massachusetts this weekend and stopped here Saturday morning for a coffee and bagel. It’s Monday, we’re back home, and we STILL are not over the Rosemary Olive bagel with chive cream cheese. Seriously the BEST bagel I’ve ever had!! I got an iced maple latte which was also outstanding. We were planning to take a 1/2 dozen bagels home but they are closed Sundays and we were heading home. Very happy with our experience here!”
“IF there was an apocalypse and our capitalist economy decided to churn for one more day AND that day was a Thursday, I would have my last consumer purchase be a breakfast sandwich and an iced brown sugar oat milk latte from this establishment. I am of the opinion that breakfast sandwiches are one of life's greatest pleasures, and as such, have consumed many, but NONE as good as this one. Warm, buttery biscuit, some sort of cheese that works perfectly with the egg and bacon? Can't do better, truly. Don't be fooled--they only usually have them on Thursdays, but they are a true delicacy. Favorite day of the week. I also happen to be a Lorelai Gilmore-level coffee consumer, and am pretty picky when it comes to my brews. Any medium roast they have? Impeccable. The lattes always come out that rich brown reddish color, just enough espresso, just enough milk, not too sweet. Another thing--they take their time making the drinks. You might wait a second longer, but you know you'll get your money's worth. Best coffee shop in VT, woman-owned. Support this fantastic local business in idyllic SoRo. :)”
“The food is amazing, and the people are great! This is my go to place every time. They have lots of activities too. Bands, bingo, trivia night, and lots more.Dietary restrictions: I follow a keto diet and they always accomodate my special reguestsParking: plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: everyone brings their kidsWheelchair accessibility: there is a wheelchair ramp”
“.I ordered the fried fish and chips and it did not disappoint. It was a generous cut of haddock, lightly breaded and fried on a large plate of hand cut fries. I normally don’t like tartar sauce, but I liked theirs. Service was fast and food came out quickly and hit. I’d eat here again. It’s not far from home.”
“Beef Barbacoa tacos were excellent. Always great service and good food. Also the upper pass beers are always super good, only small problem is many are seasonal and leave you wanting more (bring back the yuzu beer!)”
“Great little off the beaten path breakfast/ lunch spot. Tucked in a bowling alley. Only reason it's four out of five is it closes early around 2pm. But that's most likely so they can focus on the bowling alley after. I recommend stopping in for a bite.”
“Stopped on our way home from Canada and glad we did!! chicken parm grinder on home made bread hit the spot. Very nice owner, we look forward to passing through again”
“Love this place! Perfect little slice of Vermont culture. Ann and Ben are great host and the pub is super cozy. Ben was brewing while we were there so we were able to enjoy all the good aromas and flavors at the same time. We'll be back again.”
“I dropped in to Randolph Village a Pizza on 9/24/23 @ ~11:15am with an order for the Central Maine Community College Women's Soccer Team. Twenty-five of us, including 3 coaches. This was pretty short notice for a Saturday lunch. We asked that the order be ready for 1:45pm, just 2hr and 45min.These people did an outstanding timely job, including individual bags for each order that had names, Jersey numbers, and bus Numbers on each bag!The food was awesome! We will be using Randolf Village Pizza every time we play Vermont State University!Vegetarian options: Nice salads availableDietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy friendly optionsParking: Large parking lot behind”
“Had no idea what to expect here, the sign on the building says taco+beer, with no real signs it was a brewery. Definitely more of a taco spot with a brewery than the ladder, but they have a great menu and beer selection. I got the coffee milk stout which was great, slightly sweet with a hint of chocolate and coffee. For lunch I got the special crab Rangoon empanadas, crispy, creamy, slightly sweet that paired great with the slightly spicy dipping sauce. Great spot located in a quaint little town!”
“Need more help, some online order persons were waiting 10 minutes+. Very friendly and helpful just not enough people to do what needs to be done in a timely manner.”
“Great place to wnjoy delicious food after Killington ski/nowboarding. They have hot fresh food and drinks available. Fillet mignon is $53 and it’s amazing. Home made food and very friendly stuff. Spend 40 driving minutes from Killington and enjoy this amazing place.”
“We have eaten carry out once or twice a month from East China Garden for years. The meals have included a large amount of well prepared fresh vegetables which aren’t available at the other other dining choices in Randolph. Although dining in was closed and the quality suffered this simple carry out restaurant with fair prices remained open during COVID. Our recent meal of mixed vegetables and broccoli chicken was the best we’ve had. It included mushrooms, snow peas, zucchini, bok choy, and not an abundance of carrots. A few tables are now open for dining in! The space desperately needs freshening up, hopefully the property owner and restaurant owners can work together to make some improvements.”
“Yes the service could improve, but this is also excellent Thai food. You taste the broth and you’re like wow that’s so good. Is there better in NYC or places like that? Yes, but probably the best Thai food in the state. A few good vegan options but not too many.”
“Don't expect high-end cuisine, but a lot of good choices for a healthier meal on-the-go and a very good value for your money. Though the bread is typically baked fresh daily, at this location it can sometimes be a bit chewy (based upon 2 visits). Definitely makes the bread closer to excellent if you have your sandwich toasted. The wide variety of complementary veggies, sauces, and seasonings allow your customer your made-to-order sandwich.”
“We came in at 10:59 through drive up and they were officially closed, but the cheerful staff provided us with a meal for the road. We had a long travel day and did not have anything to eat due to delays in air travel. Thank you so much for your great service & kindness. Thank you! Glad we live in Vermont.”
“One of the coolest bars I’ve ever been to! Amazing service, great vibes, bangin food and fantastic tunes. What more could you ask for?** P.s get the Chicago dog - it rivals those of the windy city**”
