“Happy we got the chance to check out the new space at One Main. Took the family and had an excellent lunch. The food was great, service second to none, and the new space was open, warm, and really family friendly. So kind and flexible with my kids and really really delicious food and drinks. A must in Central, VT. We would be regulars if we lived here but will be when we’re visiting!”
“Randolph is lucky to have Wee Bird! This cafe is awesome. Great bagel selection with plenty of cream cheese options. The sandwiches are also delicious, highly recommend the veggie monster with a cup of soup for lunch! The staff is very friendly, much appreciate my visits Wee Bird!”
“Eclairs, custom cupcakes, scones, Special order cakes and cinnamon rolls a sampling of what we have tried and all delicious and have loved them all. Highly recommend easy ordering process, super friendly owner and staff and absolutely delicious items.”
“.I ordered the fried fish and chips and it did not disappoint. It was a generous cut of haddock, lightly breaded and fried on a large plate of hand cut fries. I normally don’t like tartar sauce, but I liked theirs. Service was fast and food came out quickly and hit. I’d eat here again. It’s not far from home.”
“No frills, great cook. Very small eating area: only 5 tables, 4 counter seats, full bar, ten lane tenpin bowling alley noise surrounds you (unless you pay the jukebox), watch out for big potholes in the dirt parking lot. AMAZINGLY good food: had the chipped beef on toast, steak n cheese croissant, cream of mushroom soup, all specials pretty sure all homemade, plus regular menu fried haddock sandwich, also excellent, and two tasty appetizers (maybe from frozen, but still really good).”
“I dropped in to Randolph Village a Pizza on 9/24/23 @ ~11:15am with an order for the Central Maine Community College Women's Soccer Team. Twenty-five of us, including 3 coaches. This was pretty short notice for a Saturday lunch. We asked that the order be ready for 1:45pm, just 2hr and 45min.These people did an outstanding timely job, including individual bags for each order that had names, Jersey numbers, and bus Numbers on each bag!The food was awesome! We will be using Randolf Village Pizza every time we play Vermont State University!Vegetarian options: Nice salads availableDietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy friendly optionsParking: Large parking lot behind”
“Need more help, some online order persons were waiting 10 minutes+. Very friendly and helpful just not enough people to do what needs to be done in a timely manner.”
“We have eaten carry out once or twice a month from East China Garden for years. The meals have included a large amount of well prepared fresh vegetables which aren’t available at the other other dining choices in Randolph. Although dining in was closed and the quality suffered this simple carry out restaurant with fair prices remained open during COVID. Our recent meal of mixed vegetables and broccoli chicken was the best we’ve had. It included mushrooms, snow peas, zucchini, bok choy, and not an abundance of carrots. A few tables are now open for dining in! The space desperately needs freshening up, hopefully the property owner and restaurant owners can work together to make some improvements.”
“Yes the service could improve, but this is also excellent Thai food. You taste the broth and you’re like wow that’s so good. Is there better in NYC or places like that? Yes, but probably the best Thai food in the state. A few good vegan options but not too many.”
“Don't expect high-end cuisine, but a lot of good choices for a healthier meal on-the-go and a very good value for your money. Though the bread is typically baked fresh daily, at this location it can sometimes be a bit chewy (based upon 2 visits). Definitely makes the bread closer to excellent if you have your sandwich toasted. The wide variety of complementary veggies, sauces, and seasonings allow your customer your made-to-order sandwich.”
“We came in at 10:59 through drive up and they were officially closed, but the cheerful staff provided us with a meal for the road. We had a long travel day and did not have anything to eat due to delays in air travel. Thank you so much for your great service & kindness. Thank you! Glad we live in Vermont.”
“Absolutely love, LOVE this adorable restaurant. My great friend brought me here for the first time and I was blown away. The restaurant itself is so beautiful and simplistic, tasteful and warm. We ate at the bar and our bartender/ Waitress Colleen was wonderful. Cheerful and lovely. We had red wine to start paired with the P.E.I mussels in a tomato, basil, garlic white wine sauce and baked burratta with sweet plum tomatoes and focaccia bread. The mussels were perfect little bites of heaven with delicious dipping juices for the bread. The baked burratta was amazing with flavors just popping in your mouth with every bite. The bruschetta was to die for!! Thank you chef and Colleen for a wonderful first time visit. Will be sure to return soon.Jennie GoldbergWarren VT”
“One of the coolest bars I’ve ever been to! Amazing service, great vibes, bangin food and fantastic tunes. What more could you ask for?** P.s get the Chicago dog - it rivals those of the windy city**”
“The pizza was great. I am from Connecticut. Having pizza in a different state is like rolling the dice. My son and I were very pleased with the food. The restaurant was exactly what we wanted. Very nice staff and a home town atmosphere.”
“Just enjoyed the most delicious chicken-salad sandwich. Add bacon for an excellent match up on your sandwich! The service was great and parking is right across the street. Great local spot if you’re passing through Bethel.”
“We live in SoRo and LOVE First Branch! We call it our fancy coffee special! we usually hit it Wednesday because...DONUTS TOO! Today I took my toddler and we got the OG Orange Juice, it's literally amazing. And then we got the Lemon Beauty, Chocolate Donut, and the Brunch donut. All amazing (lemon beauty is a FAV of mine) but the brunch donut was seriously amazing! My 12yo was mad I only got 1 to split! it's like all the things you love about an everything bagel in a donut. Hands down recommend every time!”
“Terrific service and elevated food. If you wanna eat a quick breakfast and go they can provide you with great food and fast service. I was looking for a slower paced breakfast and I was accommodated as well. Great stop.”
“We drove all the way from Castleton Vermont and we’re not disappointed whatsoever. The food was absolutely amazing. I’m talking one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The service was absolutely amazing friendly staff great environment. Great team live music was also great nothing better than live entertainment. The owner is a great hostess. Very friendly. and very welcoming. I would give this place five stars again and again we look forward to coming back. Thank you for having us.”
“I've been dining here multiple times when I visit Killington area. This place is unique to have dine-in restaurant area and curbside shack stand like outside ordering area. If weather is nice, you can eat your tasty food at picnic tables adjacent to the building. Inside fine area, calm and spacious into two sections and you see lots of deer hunting stuff hang in walls. Although they located in the middle of the state, they serve great seafood dishes with quite crispy french fries (although at my last visit, it wasn't great as before...). All dishes i've tried are great so far and i highly recommend this place. Seasoning are relatively strong so you might enjoy them if you prefer seasoned well dishes. This place seems the dine in place for locals obviously. From here there is a farm called Kiss the Cow, about 15min., and they sells raw milk 24hrs. I am not an affiliate with them but they have a great products such as rich creamy ice cream swirl I also highly recommend.”
“I spent a weekend in Rochester and enjoyed having breakfast here. Great coffee and breakfast food for any appetite. What really made it great was the staff. They had a really nice vibe and were friendly, funny and welcoming. If you are staying in or around Rochester or just driving through, stop by. You won’t be ”
“Stopped on our way home from Canada and glad we did!! chicken parm grinder on home made bread hit the spot. Very nice owner, we look forward to passing through again”
“Absolute gem of an Inn, perfectly located off scenic Route 100 on the town green of a quintessential small VT village. The rooms were cozy, impeccably clean and equipped with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the delicious and convenient dinner at Docs Tavern connected to the Inn. Had such a great stay, already booked the same room for our next ski trip!”
“Beef Barbacoa tacos were excellent. Always great service and good food. Also the upper pass beers are always super good, only small problem is many are seasonal and leave you wanting more (bring back the yuzu beer!)”
“Had no idea what to expect here, the sign on the building says taco+beer, with no real signs it was a brewery. Definitely more of a taco spot with a brewery than the ladder, but they have a great menu and beer selection. I got the coffee milk stout which was great, slightly sweet with a hint of chocolate and coffee. For lunch I got the special crab Rangoon empanadas, crispy, creamy, slightly sweet that paired great with the slightly spicy dipping sauce. Great spot located in a quaint little town!”
“Solid pizza. Great crust. I ordered the School Street and it could be--dare I say--more greasy? Definitely fell on the sweeter side, so if you're more of a savory person I would recommend adding bacon or something. Some pizza places skip on the sauce. This is not one of them. Enjoyed the marinara. Very cute indoors. Can definitely envision enjoying a slice and a beer on a Saturday afternoon. Yum!”
“What an exceptional little restaurant/bar. Absolutely loved the food. Simple and clever dishes, done with panache, but without being pretentious. It’s rare that a restaurant hits all the right buttons for me, but this place is really fantastic. Will visit every time I’m in Randolph. All the stars.”
