Every visit to Brandon includes a visit to Mae's. The food and service are great. The perfect place to get the day started. Everything is good, particularly the eggs Benedict with corn beef. Prices are more than reasonable. I'll be back again next time I'm in town.
Last year while driving across Vermont with my cousin to Saratoga, we were in Brandon, Vermont and hungry. It was early in the day and we walked into Mae’s and had a delicious breakfast. It’s just a nice unassuming café and a lovely little town. This year I happened to be in Vermont and I made a beeline for Mar’s to have breakfast and it did not disappoint. I was truly impressed with the friendly hometown feeling from the staff and patrons. The decor was simple and clean. The fried pickles were awesome. I had a southwest chicken wrap that was tasty and a little bland for me. But I like spicy food. The zesty waffle fries were very good. Everything added up to a great dining experience.
