Quite possibly the best comfort food I’ve ever had. As someone visiting from out of town, my meal at Kipling’s was truly a standout moment of my trip. The food was incredibly satisfying, the service was warm and attentive, and the staff made me feel right at home. I’ll absolutely be back the next time I’m in town—no question about it.

Male bartender was awful. No manners, arrogant and dismissive. Food is average. Price is high. Terrible experience and the first time I tipped zero in my life. I'm usually very, very generous. If you are from out of town dont go there. Locals got great service.

This is a very fun spot. I hear it is very busy, so we enjoyed a spot at the bar. All the items on the menu look delicious, lots of good looking drinks, great beer selection, both cans and draught. Everything we ordered was delicious and good portions. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had an impromptu date night and thought we would give this place a try. We were absolutely blown away. When we arrived on a Saturday night at about 530 we told there would be a 30 to 45 minute wait but oh my goodness it was absolutely worth the wait. The hostess and our server were incredibly attentive, while the food and drinks were incredible!! We were just completely blown away by the entire experience and truly cannot wait to come back and try even more of their delicious specials.

What an awesome place! Traveling the east coast for vacation and stopped just inside the Vermont state line. Food is delicious, take out service was on point, and everyone was so friendly and made us feel like regulars! Great atmosphere! Wish we could transport the place to back home to NC. If you are in the area of Brattleboro Vermont give them a try, you won't regret it!
I went to this place one day with my mom my names Liam I'm 10 just let me just tell you when I had this places crab cakes they were bussin 😋. I got a special from their menu it was called jambalaya when I had it it was out of this world. I even got fast serving . 5 out of 5,loved this place

Hands down the only place I ever want to get a burger, especially the Bix burger. Tonight I had short rib bucatini (on special) and can’t even begin to describe how exceptional it was! Hands down my favorite restaurant. You can tell the owner is passionate about amazing food.

A serious culinary operation in disguise. The tavern is a casual setting with pefect lighting. The menu is approachable food executed to perfection. Oh and the service was amazing. Very very attentive, a water glass never unfilled, friendly, professional, there when you need and not at all obtrusive. A hard line to tow in the industry. (Lucas was our server and seems like he really loves to be there) We only stopped in town to charge the car and we were glad we ended up here!
The chicken sandwich was excellent. The truffle cauliflower "wings" were the best I have ever had. Super crispy on the outside and cauliflower was tender. It's difficult for me to love a salad, but I loved the Chopped salad, it has the perfect amount of acid, dressed just right and chopped to the point of being able to get a perfect bite with every fork full.
