“First time at Vegan A. F. tonight. Not a vegan, I was eager to try here because I know one of the owners as an amazing cook/chef in the past at non- vegan places. She and the rest of the staff shined tonight! Tried their award winning chili - very good; coconut curry vegetable soup - outstanding!; gluten free cake; non dairy mousse, etc. etc. If all vegan dishes are as tasty as this, wow! (And I hear they are!) A great experience for this novice.”

What has been done here is absolutely incredible, from both a patron and employee perspective. (I don’t work here) This brings back both an industry and community/familial standard that no longer exists. “I am originally from Brooklyn NY and know good Italian food. Bella Notte was the best Italian food my wife and I have ever eaten. We shared Lasagna and Chicken Sorrento, followed by Tiramisu for dessert. Our waitress Karen was awesome. She was attentive, helpful, efficient and pleasant. It was a delight to be served by her. The restaurant is in the Brattleboro country club with a beautiful view. I would definitely go back.”

“Absolutely love this place—it’s hands down one of our favorite pizza spots in the area. Everything is excellent, no matter what you order. Some of our family favorites include the classic cheese or pepperoni pizza, the chicken and eggplant parmesan grinders, personal cheese pizzas for the kids, and their baklava for dessert.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can often see the owners working alongside their team, taking real pride in the quality of their food. From pizza to grinders, pasta, and salads, everything is top-notch. Highly recommend stopping in for some great food!

“Set both physically and symbolically opposite the busy Windham Court House, this place has spectacular coffee. Very impressive selection of books. The workers seem good natured. Ethics focused. This place is an excellent contribution to Brattleboro. It almost feels out of place here due to it feeling up to date with clean lines and feel. Supporting businesses like this is a good move.

Even in a storefront full of words, all of them fail to describe the chai donuts that are on the counter at an irregular (perhaps dopamine-rush-tuned) interval.

They've added a nice deck on the side and there are picnic tables in the back in a fruit tree Orchard. I asked about gluten-free and they said their menu is only 2 weeks old but they're planning on gluten-free options”

“We serendipitously ran into this wonderful restaurant in Brattleboro, Vermont called High Thai and were so unbelievably surprised by the excellent food and service we got in this establishment. As I initially warned one of the owners, Adam, I am a food snub from NYC where Asian cuisine and its many fusions are plentiful and good but this definitely rivaled any of the best restaurants in NYC.”

“We got raw Pad Thai made with kelp noodles, it was creatively fun and had a good spiciness. The Nori roll appetizer was also tasty and filled with nutrition. Golden milk rounded the meal out, which was just the right balance of sweet and spiced. Feeling a nice buzz after the meal, not too full but satiated. Staff is nice and we have a seat looking over the water.”

The environment piqued curiosity while giving options with its quieter "Speak Easy" styled downstairs. She snuck the check on our table. This is the worse experience ever in a restaurant and ruined our meal out.”

They had 4 different kinds of sushi, Vermont, Philadelphia, California, and house special (it was wrapped in strips of something orange) Ive been to every Chinese buffet in Vermont except Essex junction, this is probably the best one. especially for the price.”
