“We had fresh and crispy Caesar salads and two very tasty meat lasagnas. The waitress was very busy, however, she still found time to bring us spoons and extra napkins. The lasagna was so piping hot that we used spoons to isolate a bite at a time to cool until we could eat easily.”
“Got the super special order coffee in less time than it took to pay for. Coffee jumped off the seat of the cart right after we exited through the doors to the outside. Went back in for a replacement, got one of the 3 part special ingredients out and he repeated the rest back to me. Told him we spilled the 1st one in the parking lot and got the 2nd one free even when I tried to pay for it. Will be returning later this week!”
“Whoa. So good. I never thought I’d find spice this nice in Vermont but the jerk chicken is amazing. And the chocolate rum cake…are you kidding me? Run don’t walk…and they are on door dash. Getcha some.”
“Excellent! So far my favorite restaurant in Brattleboro. Beyond the good food the service was impeccable, good environment, nice public, calm, sophisticated, good for a date or dinner w the fam. Ps.: make a reservation!”
“Amazing! Easily one of the best restaurants in the state of Vermont. Their hummus and falafel compare only to what you’d get in the best Mediterranean restaurants in the country. I love their hummus they sell across the state in select grocery stores too! So much better than other hummus brands. Owner and workers friendly and helpful.”
“The food here is incredible, I’m vegan and my partner isn’t, and we were raving about it all night. The staff is really friendly, even on a night when they were slammed, and the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. Lots of gluten free options!Dietary restrictions: Lots of clearly marked gluten free options. The entire menu is vegan of course.”
“A little Alice of old Vermont, this is a great stop for lunch or breakfast. Quality food for fair prices, everything we had was delicious. Especially the Mac n cheese! All the bakes goods looked super yummy too and there were plenty of local goodies to choose from. Fresh made sandwiches and breads as well. There is a nice area to sit outside where the river runs by so you can listen to the sound of running water while you eat. We will definitely be coming back!”
“What an experience. My husband and I love checking out coffee shops while traveling through our New England and this one did not disappoint. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. The coffees were made quickly and beautifully. We bought beans to make our own espresso at home and they were also top notch. Definitely a cute spot close to the river!”
“The Hawaiian Fried Rice was extremely delicious. I added chicken but it's filling even without meat. My partner got the Ginger chicken and loved it. Highly recommend anything from here!”
“Absolute gem off of i91. The food is fresh and delicious, and there were gluten free options on the menu for my friend. 10/10 recommend to a friend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options available.”
“Nate & his team are always super welcoming! The food is very enjoyable, whether you are a picky eater or love just about everything, you will definitely find something you like!Thank you for always being there when we need a little pick-me-up!”
“In the middle of tiny Bernardston, this is a cute little bakery. They serve excellent drip coffee to go (no cappuccinos or the like). The bakery is first class - we sampled an almond croissant, blueberry scone, a small cupcake and a tiny cheesecake (all much too good). You can see the immaculate bakery at work from the counter through a large glass window. They sell some clothing and local produce like maple syrup as well. Worth a stop.”
“Coming home or going to Stratton and need some amazing local food treats? You have to stop here! Kind, helpful staff and delicious baked goods along with some proteins like tuna salad and deviled eggs. Coffee and teas are a bonus as well as some local sundries. This renovated farm house also has local artist items in the attached space.”
“This is the best dining experience I've had in ages. First, the chef deserves a Michelin star or two. I've been to Michelin-starred restaurants that don't compare to this one in terms of food. Second, an intimate atmosphere and an open kitchen where you can watch the craftsmanship of the chef make it really unique. The restaurant is worth traveling for.”
“Visited here and the food was amazing, drinks were creative and the vibe was great. Amazing service made it all such an enjoyable dinner! Loved hearing the story of the owners as well, you should support this business! We will definitely be back often!”
“Have been going here since I was a little kid and my parents have gone here over 30 years. Very kind family operated pizza restaurant. Prices are good too. Best pizza anywhere around.Kid-friendliness: Friendly people. Good place to go with family.”
“If you love sour beer, this is the place for you! Lots of fun options and you can do a flight to sample. Cans to take home if you find a favorite. The first visit we had our dog and they brought her a bowl of water, so nice. Love the atmosphere with the pop art display of products and the nice windows to watch street traffic.”
“Went on my way on vacation and now this is my fav coffee shop ever! Great and organic quality.Loved my maple syrup latte with my chai donut .Also the coffee shop feels like home. Thank you, Ruth.”
“Perfect cup of joe! My barista had excellent drink craftsmanship, they were very friendly and quick to make my latte. Seems like a great place to sit, read a good book, and enjoy a lovely coffee. Love Brattleboro and Mocha Joe’s!Vegetarian options: Milk alternatives available.Parking: Parking on the street and there are a few lots very near that are 40-75 cents an hour after 9am.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for children.”
“We ate there tonite . It was delicious. We didn’t make reservations and even though we got there around 5:20 we had a good 30 min wait for a table. But it was well worth the wait. We had seafood and wings and everyone one loved it.”
“Great food! Service was a little off but it was a busy night. One thing I wish they'd fix is the heat. It was really cold near the windows where we first seated. We asked to move to another table and they moved us, but reluctantly. It was slightly better at the new table. Hope they can do something to make it more comfortable, or I'll be wearing ski pants to eat there in the winter”
“I'm from SoCal, and love El Indio (San Diego) tortilla chips. Leah's homemade chips are the closest thing I've found. They are great. I try to get 4 side orders a week for my stash!”
“I just saw this place on a YouTube channel and they are soo welcoming to the YouTube peeps from amagansett press. If I’m ever there I will definitely spend money there!!!!”
“Not only is their entire menu gluten free, vegan, and delicious, they went our of their way to mail me my wallet that I dropped there when visiting from out of state.Dietary restrictions: My wife has celiac disease and a dairy allergy. She was so excited to be able to order anything on the menu and not have to worry about cross-contamination.”
“Stopped in on Saturday for a light lunch and a cocktail. This is a cool spot, the oysters were cold and fresh, the clam chowder is excellent (it's thin, iyktyk) and the tinned fish was not my cup of tea but my gf loved it. A decent selection of beers on tap and a creative cocktail list. Great new spot for me.”
“A must try!! Of my suggestions! If you have not yet, my favorites are (now) CHOW FUN!! Their chicken fingers are fried to perfection, crispy and juicy! This name Says it all Chicken Amazing! (With brown rice) Their Szechuan dumplings are absolutely tasty! Their Sushi Chef is a master of delicious Arts!”
“I stopped in at Love Buzz on a road trip. The man working, who I'm guessing was the/an owner promised me the best cuppa coffee around. He did not lie! Thanks for the pick me up for our long drive!”
“Service was amazing, recommendation was on point and coffee was delicious! I’m from NM and I’ll make sure I add this coffee shop to our list when we go back to Vermont!”
“What a fun place to discover! Our Smash Burgers and tater tots were amazing! The outdoor seating was cozy and fun. Indoor available if desired. The blonde ale was incredibly smooth.Friendly, professional service. Beautiful pasture and starry skies were the icing on the cake. This is definitely on our revisit list!”
“Food was delicious, the music was bopping 50s and 60s hits but not too loud, and the waitress was just LOVELY! A very friendly and welcoming place. My only issue is that there was a TV playing (muted, but on). With my, and my son's, ADHD its difficult for us to focus on family conversation with that distraction In view. But that is very much just a ME issue that others may have no problem with. Overall, thumbs up!”
