All I can say is excellent. The food was perfect. The service was perfect. The ambiance was great. Had the Ahi Tuna Tartare and Arancini for 1st course. Arancinin was crispy outside and firm but moist inside. The Tuna was perfect, with pickled cucumber and wasabi. For dinner had the New York Strip medium rare with Broccoli Rabe (like collard greens) and Truffle Mashed Potatoes. The steak had a delicious blue cheese crumble and was moist and tender. Also had the Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken with fried palenta and zucchini ribbons. The chicken was tender, juicy and the palenta was amazing. For desert had the Creme Brulee which was crispy topped suger decadence and creamy firm inside. For drinks had the Espresso Martini and Orchard Old Fashioned (no cherry), both the best we have had. I believe our server was Nicci and she was great!

Super friendly staff. Food and drinks are out of this world. We had oysters, they were exceptionally clean and tasted wonderful. Our entree's were perfect! Will definitely be back!

My wife and our parents had our college graduation celebration dinner here two nights ago and it was a perfect experience. My mother said the rainbow trout was the best she’d ever had and I’d agree! Everything was prepared perfectly and delicious.
Special shout out to our servers, especially Em, who was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the menu, including the extended wine list. She helped us land on a bottle of Valpociella that paired perfectly with our meals. Thank you!
Eat here if you want elevated dishes and excellent service all in a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere.

I I loved all my meals! The seafood at Peter Havens was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My partner tried the pasta, which wasn’t his favorite, but honestly, if you’re dining here, go for the seafood. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We were traveling up to And Airbnb in Vermont for the first time and randomly took an exit to go get some dinner and end up here. What a great experience! Service was amazing and the food was fantastic. Caesar salad, oysters were to die for. We had a delicious mushroom soup. I had a beef short rib special in my wife had pasta with pesto.
Oh my goodness. I never give a meal a 10/10 but my dinner last night definitely was. The salad, the soup, the filet, everything was outstanding. Our waitress was top notch, NOTHING could’ve been improved. Perfection. Will definitely be back

Best restaurant in Brattleboro. They are so friendly and accommodating. I am gluten free and they were able to prepare almost all the food on the menu gluten free. I had the duck and it was fantastic. I will totally go again!
