Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and unbelievable spirits! I have never had a maple rye like they have. I find myself more of a cider type of person, and some craft beers, but always found whiskey, bourbon, and other things like that a bit much, until now.The staff is very helpful when you ask questions about each variation they have, and very knowledgeable. They ask you questions also to help you select the spirit that you'll enjoy the most. They have multiple different maple liquors (also non-maple) that I'm sure you'll find one you enjoy. Stop by and have a flight or two, to find the one that fits you best. I promise you'll be leaving with a bottle or two, plus a happy demeanor and a smile!?Also check out their second location in downtown Brattleboro, smaller, but all the same enjoyable spirits! Also nice to enjoy watching the small bustling streets."From our river, to your liver". Haha just great!(Disclaimer: my review is identical to their other location, as I find them both as enjoyable as the other.)

Was visiting from New Jersey, and walked into the place to the most amazing surprise of all, a beautiful cat to welcome you into the distillery. I loved that there was a bar with a lot of space both inside and outside. The drinks were superb and the Gin was my favorite, so extremely smooth and botanical. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area!

Great tasting done the right way. They had an array of spirits to try which were all good. Nice tasting room with outdoor patio as well.

Wow! Their Maple Bourbon, Rye, and Gin are all fantastic! We enjoyed our visit and stay. Try the Old Fashion it is smooth and delicious. Melissa the bartender knows what she is doing. Every drink is perfection, you won't be disappointed.

If you appreciate spirits, check out their tastings. The maple double barrel is great, and the gin has wonderful flavor without being neither sweet nor biting.

You can tell you're creeping into middle age when you give a bar five stars for being clean, spacious, well-lit, and quiet. Doesn't hurt that they have excellent craft cocktails made with their own delicious liquors, yummy non-alcoholic drinks for abstainers, a bank shuffleboard table, friendly bartenders, a beautiful big yard with fire pits and lots of seating—and a cat!Every time I've been here they've been super accommodating. They've let us bring in outside food and eat it at the bar (they serve some snacks, but not a full kitchen). We've come as a big group with lots of kids and they've set us up outside with fires in the firepits and grates over them for safety—the kids really enjoyed digging in the sand (and the grownups really enjoyed the cocktails). They have live music there sometimes, and a selection of board games. The only downside is that sometimes it can take a while to get a drink—the cocktails are lovingly hand-mixed with lots of interesting fresh local ingredients, so if you're anxious to get a bunch of booze in your boozehole right away maybe order a whiskey flight or something. I also feel like they don't do a great job of self-promotion—I only learned about it through word of mouth. BUT it's here, and it's good, so go!

Stopped in over the Christmas holiday. Nice place - great price on flights. Their spirits are both unique and tasty. The beer pretzel was yummy too. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a good few drinks here at the Distillery and ended up buying a couple bottles. They do make a great Burbon, and the PERC is one the best Coffee liquors I've had the pleasure of tasting, we had to buy a bottle. Will definitely be recommending to everyone I know.
Had a good time and a great bartender. Bought two bottles.

A tasting of 4 tiny shots goes for about $5.10.Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Indoor seating is closed. You order through a window counter in the back. No tours, just tasting and purchasing of their merchandise.Drinks were ok but I'm not really a big bourbon fan. There was no pressure to buy.

This distillery was only offering outdoor seating at this time. On a nice warm sunny day it would not be no issue. In fact,, it would be great way to enjoy a drink. But on a cold windy rainy day, you might need to down a few shots to forget your discomfort. You can order a flight to taste test their offerings.
Good spot to try local VT maple bourbons
