Excellent food nice atmosphere. I came back to update my review Because we had a bad experience the last time we ate there. I order steak tips every time I go usually I do not like the vegetables and every server has offered me a substitute I usually get the salad. The sides for the steak tips were mashed potatoes as usual and there was another root vegetable I did not want two root vegetables it was a medley like a hash so I asked if I could substitute for a simple salad and was told no we do know substitutions. I didn't argue with the waiter I was just pissed off the entire Bill including a 20% tip was over $105. I left the medley of mush on my plate I was quite upset all I got was six pieces of steak and mashed potatoes all I wanted was a salad and I've gotten it over a dozen times there with no issues substituting. It only takes one bad experience for me not to go back. We move to Bernardston 2 years ago and found the marina was our favorite restaurant and have eaten there dozens of times in 2 years. To tell the truth I probably won't go back when you spend $105 on two people's supper and all I wanted to do is substitute a mashed medley of root vegetables for a small salad and was told no that is unacceptable at these prices and considering I had done it at least 12 times before.

If i could i would give this 10 stars 5 is not enough. My wife and I were traveling through and decided to stop for a late dinner. Even though it was close to closing time we did not feel rushed to leave. The waitor did a superb job making us feel at home. Very cozy romantic atmosphere. If our travels bring us through again we will certainly stop again. Highly recommended.

Cozy, beautiful view, great service and food! Only negative is the cloth napkins had a very strong detergent/softener odor which was an overpowering distraction from the smell and taste of the food!

The food was pretty good but our waitress was not great. She seemed put out when she came to our table (which took awhile). She got my friends drink completely wrong and didn’t say she was sorry but told her to just go order it from the bar. Then she never came back until we were done with our food and asked if we were ready to leave. Then when we left she was sitting in the chair in the waiting area.

Went to Marina on a Saturday, Fall season. We were asked if we had a preference where we wanted to sit. Hostess suggested upstairs, wonderful suggestion, spacious and great view. Our server was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Our party of four ordered Squash Ravioli, Cheeseburger, Olive/ cheese salad and mine was a roasted turkey sandwich. We got sweet potato fries and onion rings. We all enjoyed our food and experience. Our suggestion is to go to the Marina and try it out. Very family friendly also!
