Deciding on a caterer was one of the hardest parts of the wedding planning process. There were so many different options at various price points. We ended up going with Porch Too. This was due to many factors. I mean, come on, the food is amazing! Anyone that has eaten at The Porch in Brattleboro knows this! But the most important factor for us was flexibility in creating and accommodating various allergy and dietary needs of our guests. Both my now spouse and I have at different points in time have been guests at events and there is nothing for us to eat besides maybe a salad or a roll depending on dietary restrictions. It was very important to us that all of guests had at least one delicious option (carnivore, vegan, gluten free, corn free, etc). Gretchen was immediately open to creating a menu that did just that. She also did so based on available food at the time of year. We did a tasting with Gretchen early on in the process. She was great to chat with and made us some of the best food that we couldn't wait to share with guests. She was also extremely accommodating and quick to answer our many questions!

Day of, Gretchen showed up with the CUTEST Halloween themed chalkboard signs for the food. It was the best surprise we could've asked for! Each sign listed an available meal and had a Halloween themed cartoon drawn beside it. Gretchen also brought up appetizers to my very hungry wedding party after we had taken photos. It was such a lovely surprise and everyone was so, so grateful! The dinner was amazing and my family enjoyed leftovers for several days afterwards. We cannot thank you Gretchen and her team enough for making an amazing, versatile dinner! Ten stars for this amazing local gem!

Having tried much of the menu and had catering a few times from The Porch, I can honestly say the food is top notch and well above average fare in Brattleboro.

Excellent variety, everything is good and made with fresh ingredients. Staff is kind, service is great. One place I consistently come back to.

Best place in Bratt, Price wise quality and efficiency. This is my go to spot when I’m in the area. Their outside seating is sweet they hook it up and don’t skimp on eggs and overcharge like every other spot in the area. The only thing i would change is the flexibility in the menu. Like being able to create your own omelette and come pick it up instead of making changes to stuff on their menu it would streamline the process. The people are kind and the vibes are sweet

My wife and I needed a somewhat last minute caterer for our wedding and got recommended to check out The Porch. We spoke to Gretchen in the restaurant itself when we were working out the menu and it's a nice place that already offered a few options on the menu that I could eat as a vegan.
The catering was wonderful! My wife has food allergies and myself and a few of our guests had dietary restrictions that Gretchen and her crew were so willing and able to work around! Gretchen helped us so much through the wedding planning process and her and her staff helped us to set up our floral arrangements when our florist just left. Everyone was very willing to chat and were such wonderful, friendly people.
The food was absolutely delicious and The Porch was an integral part of my and my wife's magical day!

We had Gretchen's team cater our summer event of ~70 people and it was fantastic. The team came and just did their thing, it was great. The food was so good that people (particularly kids) couldn't control themselves when the appetizers came out. Gretchen was super helpful in providing guidance on the menu and what The Porch could provide, but also recommendations on other things/service providers for the party. A+ and I would absolutely use the Porch again for a future event.

Nothing fancy here but delicious food and lots of it. Great sandwiches and what looked like some superb breakfast selections.

Fabulous and generously sized sandwiches and salads (as well as breakfast foods). We ate outside on a perfect sunny late summer afternoon among the tomato plants and flowers. I had Feel the Bern (cheddar, turkey, bacon, green apple slices on sourdough heated and pressed in a panini oven). It was amazing but a little too sweet for my taste, due to the mango habanero jam. The Vietnamese chicken salad was perfect. Next time I’d do 1/2 sandwich or share the salad. Also got a crazy delicious chocolate macadamia nut cookie. A lovely kitchen staff/owner (?) and clean well-appointed bathrooms were a bonus!

The porch is a shining star of town. I don’t know how the owners run such a consistently perfect lunch spot. The staff I know are effervescent way beyond the standard WhatElseCanIGetForYa work-voice. The kind of people that make you wanna fill out a job application just for the hang. The food has never ever been below an 8 in the years I’ve been coming multiple times a week. Always fresh, seasoned immaculately. There’s never loud annoying commercial radio music on. It’s clean.

It can sometimes feel like there’s a force field around it filtering all the apocalyptic BS out. What’s left is pure magic.
